The seasons of the gardens of paradise are due to the Madina

While leaving Madina, so no need to visit the garden of paradise

As it is better than heaven and it is a living paradise on the earth

Not we but Allah also love the city of the

prophet Madina

The love of Madina city is like the love of the

prophet and love of Allah

The beggar of this door is the king of fate and worlds

The beggar of this place is matter of envy of the kings

One who has become rich there so his fate could not known
In the resurrection day prophet, Ibrahim will find help there

Oh, Allah help us to reach Madina city to see how it is there?

Where is the mercy and there is available blessing
everywhere?

If one leaves Madina then he will not find the resort of

heaven If there is a love of Madina then it is guaranteed of
the heaven

On the earth, he is called Mohammed and Ahmed in the skies

His praise is in the world and also his praise is found in the
skies

There is his great rule in Madina also he is a ruler of the skies

Madina is capital and he is the great ruler of the two worlds

Preface

In this book translation of episodes from the Urdu edition of the book “100
Waqat of Hazrat Baba BALHE SHAH” is added by me upon its translation
into the English edition and this book is well known and this is a famous
book which is written by Mohammed Masood Quaderi and who wrote
this book in the Urdu language and which is translated by me into English
language first time. And given its title as “50 Events of HAZRAT Baba BALHE
SHAH.”
These episodes have been translated by me into the English language from
the above old book of the Urdu language and in which there are available
some great achievements, as well as his commands and teaching of the
students of the mystic way by Hazrat Baba Balhe Shah in the area of the
Punjab and which are not yet known to the general and special persons,
are added in this book and which are available in a very interesting style so,
for this reason, the readers will find great interest and attention in this
matter.
Due to the above facts and details, if the readers will start treading its first
page of the book and will not stop reading till they will reach this book’s
last page as some interesting events and as well as other great miracles and
endeavors of the holy saint of the world Hazrat Baba Balhe Shah is added in
this book and this holy saint was passed away from the world many
centuries and years ago.
Even though this is a small book, but due to its importance, it is so great
due to the coverage of many interesting events and positive information so
it is like an ocean of knowledge and information of who was passed away
from the world upon doing his great endeavors and many hard tasks for
the teaching and propagation of the Islamic religion and the work of Islam
and he was done in the Punjab area so this book is a great book and it will

present the ocan of knowledge for the guidance of people towards the
right path of Islam.

To write about this great Saint and the great spiritual master is not only it is
difficult and but it is a very hard task as Hazrat Baba Balhe Shah was not
only a great pious personality of his time in the area of Punjab but he was
also a great and famous spiritual master so, in brief, he was a great holy
person of Allah of his time in Punjab region and in other parts of India.
For a long time, he was engaged in religious discourses, sermons, and
spiritual training of the people and he did also many great endeavors for
the preaching and propagation work of Islam in Punjab and around this
region, and also there was no such personality during his time in the world.

Introduction

PRAISE be to God who made love the foundation of the world; God
Himself was the first lover for He loved the Prophet, Muhammad. Praise
be to the Prophet whom God hath raised from the dust of the earth to
great dignity.

The prophet of the Islam has explained orders and issues of the Islamic
religion to his companions and from them, orders and issues of the Islamic
religion were reached to Taibin (Those who saw him but held off believing
in him until after his passing are not considered ṣahābah but tābiʻūn.). And
from these order and issues were learned by Tabih Taibin (successors to
the holy prophet’s companion)
When Islamic religion went outside of the boundaries of the Arabian
peninsula then there were endeavors of preachers of Islamic religion which
were become successful. After Tabiun then Taba Tabiun fulfilled their

duties well in this matter. After that this duty was fall on the shoulder of
Islamic learned persons, jurists, imams (leaders), and persons of Quran
exegesis. Holy persons of Allah and as well as pious persons. And they
have not shown any negligence in their duties. And they have shown the
right path to the Muslim nation.

“ Hazrat Balhe Shah ” is also included among such genius learned and holy
persons and he has performed his duties to the Muslim nation well. And by
living in his company many thousand students of reality were able to reach
their destination.
Hazrat
Baba Balhe Shah is also a follower of the spiritual chain of Chistia. And he
was well known and genius famous personality for his worship and mystical
exercise. He has complete knowledge of manifest in the service of his
spiritual master Shah Inayat Qadiri. And when he has finished knowledge
of manifest then he was become his disciple and afterward he has started
stages of mysticism and he was obtained robe of honor and caliphate
from him.
Hazrat Baba Balhe Shah has obtained favour from his great and genius
holy person of Allah and his first spiritual teacher was Shah Inayat Qadiri,
a Sufi murshid of Lahore. He was a mystic poet and is universally
regarded as "The father of Punjabi enlightenment". He lived and was
buried
in Kasur.. And about his disciples and followers they were in many
thousands and who were reached to the higher status of the saintliness.
There are many of excellence and quality of Hazrat Baba Balhe Shah and
aim of compiling a book of “50 events of Hazrat Balhe Shah” is that to know
his different aspect of biography and to act upon them. In the last, there is
pray in the court of Allah is that to accept the endeavors of this lowest
person. May Allah give us divine instruction to become true and sincere
Muslims. (Amen)

1. A large number of people are unaware of his real name

The real name of Hazrat Balhe Shah is Syed Abdulla but he became well
known and famous with the name of Baba Balhe Shah. And a large number
of people are unaware of his real name and its reason is that he himself
has been mentioned in his poetry as Balhe Shah. And he belongs to the
Sadat (Sadat (Arabic: ‫ )سادات‬is a suffix, which is given to females believed to
be descendants of the Islamic prophet, Muhammad. In Iran, after the
revolution, it is mandatory to mention "Seyed" or "Sadat" in the names
of seyeds or sadats whose descent from Muhammad has been mentioned
in ID cards of their fathers or parental grandfathers.) family member. And
his genealogical link connected in the 14th generation with Hazrat Shaikh
Abdul Quader Jilani. And by the 25th generation his genealogical
connected with Hazrat Ali Ibn Taleb (R.A.)

2. His link of spiritual and genealogical with Hazrat Shaikh Abdul

Quader Jilani

Hazrat Baba Balhe Shah has a genealogical link with Shaikh Abdul
Quader Jilani by his generation of his son Shaikh Abdul Razzak.
His father Hazrat Syed Saqi Darwesh Mohammed came to Mulkwal from
Ouch Sharif. And which is situated in surrounding of the Kanhanu area
in one district of Lahore and now Mulkwal is situated in the limits of the
district Qasur.

3. His father has good manners, conduct, and qualities

The father of Hazrat Balah Shah has good manners, conduct, and
qualities and his name was Syed Saqi Shah Mohammed Darewsh. And he

was a

great learned person. And he has interested also in knowledge of

spiritualism. Due to his good nature and good qualities, the people called
him with the title of Darwesh person. And his tomb is situated in Bhaitain in
the Pandu area. His grave in Pandu is famous even today for the fulfillment
of desires and wishes of the persons who visit his grave and every year
there will be held his death anniversary yearly.

4. The migration in the search of good livelihood condition

The father of Baba Balhe Shah leftover Ouch Sharif for economical
conditions upon selling all his animals and his residential house in search of
good conditions of livelihood as well as teaching and preaching of the
missionary work of Islamic.
During his journey of Hazrat Saqi Shah Mohammed Darwesh there was
with him his wife and Hazrat Balhe Shah. By traveling in different places
and in many villages at last this caravan was reached to its destination
Malakwal. Hazrat Saqi Shah Mohammed upon consulting his wife
decided to settle down in this place of Malakwal.

5. The appointment of his father as Imam (leader) of the local mosque

Still there are holy persons in the world there

But manners of the meeting place of a holy person is no more

Hazrat Balhe Shah’s father after living some period of time in Malwakal
then he was appointed as Imam (leader )of the local mosque because
people of Malkwal were badly in need of one right religious leader so
that he can guide as per Islamic Shariah law.
When local people have one person of good nature person among them
so they requested him to become Imam in their mosque and also engage
in the work teaching and advice.

Hazrat Saqi Mohammed Darwesh has religious nature and for this reason,
he was left his native place. So for this reason he has accepted the request
of the people of the Malakwal to become Imam in the local mosque. And
he was also engaged in the work teaching and preaching of the people. And
which was a new thing for the local people of the Malkwal village.
Gradually the number of people began increasing in the mosque for
listening to his sermons and advice as well as his teaching meetings of the
Hazrat Saqi Shah Mohammed Darwesh.
The style of Hazrat Saqi Shah Mohammed Darwesh was such
comprehensive that so then people began liking him very much in
this matter and he was started one small Islamic school and starting
giving teaching Islamic religion and training of the boys

6. Shifting of his father with family members to Panduke village

After some days of shifting Hazrat Saqi Shah Mohammed Darwesh to

Malikwal village again, he has to shift to another village Panduke. And
due to reason that one rich person Choudhri of Pannduke village who
used to visit Malikwal to see his relatives there from Talwandi village. And
this village was very far from Malikwal. Choudary Pandu has established
one village near Talvandi on a large area of the land. And the village was
given name upon his name.
Choudhry Pandu used to go every time in the presence of Hazrat Saqi
Mohammed Darwesh to accompany him to his village and settled down
there permanently there. And one day he went into his presence and told
him that “Your honour I have build one grand mosque in my village. And
sad aspect in this matter is that for that mosque I could not get a great
learned person as well as darwesh personality. And who can manage the
administration of the mosque as well as lead the prayer by the habitation
of the mosque. In this condition, I can have heard your sermons and I
came here to inform you of my decision in this matter that if you come

and take responsibility of leading the prayers in my village mosque for

which it will be a great blessing for me. And also it will be more than any
grace this matter to village persons. And I will think it will be my great fate
due to your favour. When Hazrat Saqi Mohammed heard Choudhary's
conversation then he has asked him how it will be a blessing in this
matter?”. And Choudhary told him that “Your honour in this way I will able
to do your service, as well as I, can get spiritual favour in this matter. And it
is possible that for your sake my other world will become successful.”
Hazrat Saqi Mohammed told him that “ Choudry Sahib for getting favour
this established school by you is enough. And in this school, there is no
restriction of coming and going on any person. So what is there trouble in
this matter so you are talking in such way?. Choudhry then told him that “
your honour my village is far of 40-50 Kose (The kos (Hindi: ), also spelled
coss, koss, kosh, krosh, and krosha, is a unit of measurement which is
derived from a Sanskrit term, krośa, which means to "call", as the unit was
supposed to represent the distance at which another human could be
heard. It is an ancient Indian subcontinental standard unit of distance, in
use since at least 4 BC. According to the Artha-śāstra,
a krośa or kos is about 3000 meters or 1.8 miles.) from here. And so to
come from my village to this place is very difficult. And also my village is
bigger than this village. And there is no problem to fulfill your
responsibility in the village. So it is suitable that you shift to my village for
this reason.
And due to your blessing, there will be the progress of fate of my village.
And I will be benefitted spiritually in your company. Even also due to your
daily visit the condition of my heart will be improved. When Hazrat Saqi
Mohammed heard Choudhry's conversation then he told him that”
Choudhry Sahib for the getting knowledge students have covered long
distances and then they get knowledge and favour. And if you have such
fondness then you can daily hear and get favour. And in this matter, there
are many examples of the holy persons before you.”
Choudhry Pandu tries to convince Hazrat Saqi Mohammed and told

him that “ Your honour this matter is right. And for me, it is not
possible to

oppose your saying. But you know well that all responsibility of the village
is upon me. And due to me my absence in the village there will create
many problems there and for me, it will be difficult to pass from such
problems in this matter and if you will come with me to my village then I
can peacefully solve all problems in the village.”
When Hazrat Saqi Mohammed heard Choudhry’s request then he told
him that “Choudhry Sahib please think that if I will be shifted to your
village then what will happen to the students of this school and upon
them door of knowledge will be closed.? And from where they will get
peace in this matter?.”
Choudhry has continued his insistence in this matter so Hazrat Saqi
Mohammed Darwesh was half agreed in this matter and told him that “
Choudhry Sahib what will happen to the persons who are getting
knowledge in this small school?.” And Choudhry told that” Your honour you
appoint here your disciple and I will bear all expenses of this school
personally. And in this way, there will be no complaint against you. As well
as there will be no difficulty for the persons of this village to get knowledge
in this school.”
Upon Choudhry's insisting and promise to bear all responsibilities then
Shah Saqi Mohammed has appointed one precarious youth disciple as a
teacher in the Malkwal village school. And he himself went to Panduke
village. And he found each and everything of the Choudhry true and
correct and he has fulfilled his promise made to Hazrat Shah Saqi
Mohammed.
Hazrat Shah Mohammed Darwesh began spreading pearls of knowledge
and wisdom in the Panduke village. And a large number of students of
truth began getting favour in his company.
7. To follow the Islamic leaders

Before going to Panduke from Malakwal village Hazrat Shah

Mohammed Darwesh was engage in teaching and training in Malakwal
village for the village persons and he was also taken the responsibility of

teaching and training of primary education of his son Hazrat Balhe Shah
there. And he

has started his teaching in the best possible way. And he was told his
son Hazrat Balhe shah as follows.
“He should by following of the way of the leaders of Islam engage in
the grazing work of the cattle after finishing of his study.”

8. The people are silent

One day in the afternoon time when Hazrat Shah Mohammed Darwesh
came from the school at the time of the lunch and he was asked his wife
where is Abdulla.?” And she told him that “ Just he was here in the house.”
Hazrat Shah Mohammed Darwesh has called him in the house but did not
get a reply and he was searched in the house in all corners. But he could
not find him there. In worrying condition, he left his house in search of his
son in the village. So people of the area asked him the reason for worry in
this matter ?. And he told them that he was searching for his son. And he
told that his son is not in the house and before it this event did not
happen.
Among the people of the area told him that “ He was seen his son going
with village boys towards such and such field.”
Hazrat Shah Mohammed Darwesh thanked the village people and he went
toward the field as per the information given to him by the villagers. When
he was reached at that place he was seen boys were playing there and his
son was sitting in one place and his son was sitting in silent condition. He
was proceeded further and want to advise him but when he has seen in his
hands the beads were there and he was engaged in the meditation and he
was repeating one couplet in the Panjabi language so he was become
silent and could not say anything to him and not to do again such thing.
Hazrat Shah Mohammed Darwesh who want to advise his son but he was
standing there and upon listening to the couplet there was prevailed
upon his condition of ecstasy.
When Balhe Shah became silent then the condition of ecstasy of Hazrat

Shah Mohammed darwesh was ended then he has embraced his son
and

kissed him. And told him that “Abdullah the people of the house are
worried in this matter. You were caused to worry all of us. Your mother is
very much worried about this matter. If you want to come out then you
have informed your mother that you are coming here. Come on let us
proceed to the house.” While going to the house Hazrat Shah Mohammed
Darwesh was asked his son about the couplet you were reciting and from
where you have heard this couplet.?
When he was left in the lane along with village boys I have seen one old
person who was holding beads in his hands and was reciting the couplet.
And he was reciting this couplet many times and I am following with him
and soon I have memorized this couplet at that time. When Hazrat Shah
Mohamed Darwesh has heard his son’s conversation then he was able
to know that his son is not a normal boy but he is a special boy. And he
told his wife that “If she finds any abnormal condition in Abdulla then
she should not scold him and inform him in this matter.”
His wife was asked with Hazrat Shah Mohammed Darwesh but he
was ignored her question.

9. Arrival of Hazrat Balhe Shah

Under the care of Hazrat Shah Mohammed Darwesh, Hazrat Balhe

Shah was completed primary education and training. He was
remembered lessons soon comparing to other boys.
When the primary education and training of Hazrat Balhe was completed
then his father Hazrat Shah Mohammed Darwesh worried that for higher
education which school he will select and where he will send his boy.
Where he will learn the best rules of the passing of the life along with
his studies of education.
Hazrat Shah Mohammed Darwesh upon thinking very much in this
matter he was decided to send his son Hazrat Balhe Shah in the presence of
famous and well-known learned person Hazrat Hafiz Ghulam Murtuza in

Qasur. And Hazrat Hafiz Ghulam Murtuza was among the great learned
persons of his time. And his father was sure that there will not available
a better teacher than Hazrat Hafiz Ghulam Murtaza. So for this reason he
was sent his son Hazrat Bahle Shah in the presence of Hazrat Ghulam
Murtuza in Qusur.

10. I will be proud of the guardianship of the boy.

When Hazrat Shah Mohammed Darwesh along with his son Hazrat Bahlhe
Shah went into the presence of Hazrat Hafiz Ghulam Murtuza then he
told him that “ He has heard about your fame and I will be proud of the
guardianship of the boy.”

11.The reward of turban of excellence

Hazrat Balhe Shah was learned from Hafiz Ghulam Murtuza Arabic and
Persian languages which were two official languages of the Indian
subcontinent at that time and without them there were not done any of
the life dealings.
Also, Balhe Shah learned the Sanskrit language. And with this, he was
learned the natures and culture of the Hindu people in India. And he was
also observed its study of the comparison with the nature of the
Muslims and Muslim culture. During his education, he also came to
known the traditions of India. And he was able to know its full details.
Hazrat Balhe Shah due to the effect of the company of the perfect teachers
as well as due to intelligent mind and deep thinking he began getting
perfection on each and every knowledge. And at last, there came one day
when his teacher Hazrat Ghulam Murtuza has rewarded him turban and
certificate of excellence. And he told him that “ You have got the
knowledge and now you have permitted so can go to your place Panduke.
Balhe Shah while living in Qusur he was obtained the following knowledge.

Bostan Persian books.4.Arguments 5. Syntax and meaning 6. Book
Kanz Qaduri 7. Sharah Wiqaya
He has studied the above books, not as lessons but he has got mastery over
all the above books. He has studied with deep look Ibn Arabi’s book Fasus
Hakam and Fatuhat Makkia and was transferred each and every word of
these books into his mind.

12.Advice to the friends

Hazrat Balhe Shah came to his native place Panduke upon obtaining
knowledge of manifest. And he was given coolness to the sight of eyes
of his father Hazrat Shah Mohammed Darwesh.
Hazrat Balhe Shah was followed carelessness in the childhood period.
And now his condition was changed. Upon his arrival in Panduka, he has
avoided the meetings of his childhood friends.
When the friends were asked his reason for his coldness and he told that
“See this now you are not a child and also I am not a child. And now we
have become adults. So it is good that most of our time we can spend in
the studies and in the remembrance of Allah. So that there will be a
decoration of our in this world and another world. And also we can get
success in the other world.”
His advice to the friends was not liked by them. So they have given the
title of Mavlavi (Muslim priest). And they began calling him as Moulana
also.
Hazrat Balhe Shah used to be in the company of his friends then he used to
say their stories with advice and teaching. And biographies of the holy
persons of Allah. And he invites them towards piousness and from this, he
wants that his friends to adopt good deeds and leave the way of bad
deeds.

13.There was prevailed ecstasy on everybody by hearing his poetry

The voice of Hazrat Balhe Shah was very pathetic and he has had an
interest in the singing of the songs since his childhood period. When he
will

recite manqibat (eulogy (of the holy prophet’s companions or relations) or

poetry in the meetings of the friends then due to his pathetic voice there
will prevail a strange condition and everybody will go into a condition of
ecstasy.

13.Repentance from the false faith of the friends

One day Hazrat Balhe Shah was engaged in a conversation with his friends
and at that time one of his friends suddenly recited poetry in the Punjabi
language in which it was mentioned about pain and grief as well as parting
and separation.
Hazrat Balhe Shah in madly in loving style upon each and every couplet he
began distracted in dance. And during this period of time, he began
repeating the couplets number of times, and friends were enjoyed his
dance and were surprised in this matter. And all were regret for saying him
maulvi and for saying his correct faith as wrong faith. But they were
repented for their wrong faiths. And told him that “ Abdulla you did
not change and you remain as it is.”
Hazrat Balhe Shah told that “I have told before you that after obtaining
education he has not become Maulavi. And I did not change and remain
as it is as I was before obtaining an education. As for dancing is concerned
I would say that I have had such a condition since my childhood period.
And it is found in my veins and muscles.

14. Uneasiness in the condition of the heart

When the people of the area have seen such a condition they have felt the
seriousness of the case so they have reported this matter to his father
before reaching Hazrat Balhe Shah. And told him that your son is dancing at
such and such place. As per their thinking dancing of Syed boy and who is
the son of the leader of the local mosque as well as he is learned person of
Islam. And who is busy in the teaching and training of the village persons.

And who prohibits such nonsense to them. So, for this reason, it is a matter
of surprise in this matter. They were thinking that there is control upon him
of some invisible power. And for this reason, his condition is affected in this
matter.
Hazrat Balhe Shah without caring about the looks of the village people he
was entered into the house and still he was in the condition of the effect of
the poetry.
Hazrat Saqi Mohammed Darwesh when he has seen his son then he
called him near and in an affectionate way he asked “Abdulla what you
have learned in Qasur.”? Hazrat Balhe Shah when was heard his father’s
question then he told that “ May Allah give reward to my spiritual master
Ghulam Murtuza and his education which has given me to peace of mind.
And he has taught him all knowledge with him.”
Hazrat Saqi Shah Darwesh was thinking that his son will give another reply
and give an argument about the dancing. And he told him that “Whether
do you have peace with your heart or not.”? He told him that “ Oh my dear
father in the condition of my heart there such kind of uneasiness that and
madly with love that in it there is increasing day by day. Regarding this
matter I have told Hafiz Ghulam Murtuza and who told me that “The cure
of uneasiness of your heart and horror which is possible with any perfect
spiritual master.” Hazrat Saqi Mohammed Darewsh told him that “ Yes he
said right in this matter. And it is good this recital for you and then Allah
guides you in this matter. Upon this daily recital, you pray with Allah so that
you can get a solution to your problem.”
15. His condition of ecstasy
During his condition of engrossment he usually there was always found
upon him ecstasy. Then he will engage madly in love in the dancing
and upon finding this couplet which is as follows upon his tongue
usually.

16. Visit of Hazrat Syed Abdul Hakim

One day Hazrat Balhe shah slept after his daily recitals. And he was seen in
his dream that he was in journey and there was a severe hot season and he
was seen here and there any tree. So that he can rest under that tree
there. And he was seen at one place one group of the tree there and he
went under the tree to have rested there and was slept.
Still, he slept for some time, and what he was seen that there is coming one
throne from the sky side. And the throne came near him and then he was
seen that in it there is one holy person of light is sitting upon it. He said to
salam to him and he was given reply of his Salam and told him that “
Whether you recognize him?.’”
Hazrat Balhe Shah told him that “ No I have seen your first time.” Then he
told him “Oh my son I am your ancestor and my name is Syed Abdul
Hakeem. I am thirsty give me some water for drinking.”
Hazrat Balhe Shah said that “ At that time he has with him one cup of milk.
Which I have presented in his service. He has a drink that milk and some
milk still remained in the cup. And he asked me to drink that milk. I was
thought that milk was a blessing. And drink it immediately and he was
prayed in my favour. And he was told me that “ Abdullah you become a
disciple of any perfect spiritual master so that your uneasiness will be
over in this matter.” Upon saying this that holy person and his throne
vanished away in the heights of the sky.

17. There is no need for disappointment

Hazrat Balhe Shah said that “I went in the presence of my father Hazrat
Saqi Shah Mohammed and told him details of my dream. Upon hearing
he felt very much happiness and he told me that “ Oh my son there was a
mistake done by you. It is required by that you have asked with him the
name of the spiritual master so that your mistake will be over in this matter
or by leaving you where should I go.”

Hazrat Balhe Shah when he has heard his father’s conversation then in the
condition of worry he told him that “Where I should search for the spiritual
master.” And his father told him that “Abdullah do not worry Allah guide
Allah.” Hazrat Balhe Shah when heard his father’s conversation then there
was available some comfort to him and he began again engaged in his daily
recitals.
18. Hazrat Balhe Shah in Lahore
Hazrat Balhe Shah has consoled his son and he did meditation in the night
so that there will be an available solution to the problem of his son. Upon
meditation, there was a secret known that the tomb of his ancestor is
found in Sanda area in Lahore. And he told Hazrat Balhe Shah upon the
performing the Fajr prayer that his ancestor’s tomb in Sanda area in Lahore
and you presence upon the tomb and did meditation.”
When Balhe Shah has heard his father’s conversation then his uneasiness
was increased very much. And he has requested permission from his father
to go to Lahore and upon getting permission he immediately went to
Lahore. And without any stop, he went direct to the Sanda area and he was
present at the tomb and prayed for himself. And he was settled down in
the mosque adjacent to the tomb. In the mid-night, he has seen his
ancestor Hazrat Syed Abdul Hakeem who was sitting in the previous
condition of the throne and he told Balhe Shah “ Whether you have got
perfect spiritual master or you are still trying to get him.”
Hazrat Balhe Shah told him “ Your honour still I could not successful for the
search of the spiritual master. You guide me in this matter. Now I do not
have the courage to search for the spiritual master. It is a great blessing for
me that I was able to visit you two times. You take me under the edge of
your shirt or if it is not possible then guide me toward my destination in
this matter.”
19. Your share with Hazrat Enayat Allah Quaderi Shuttari

When Syed Abdul Hakeem has seen the uneasiness of Hazrat Balhe
Shah then he told him that “Abdullah your share with Hazrat Enayat

Quaderi Shuttari in Lahore. So you do not have difficulty in this matter.

There is my advice in this matter that upon holding the edge of the shirt of
the spiritual master then do not leave his shirt off the edge during the
whole life period. And on his court present like a beggar. And have proud
whatever which is given by your spiritual master. And also as patience in
this matter. As these matters are very delicate. And have thankfulness and
patience on the way of the journey which can become easy. By giving the
name of your love to your devotion then you can go near the real
destination. There is my prayer for you that Almighty Allah rewards you
blessing and benediction of both worlds to you. As well as Allah
recompense your mercy and favour upon you.”
Upon saying this the throne of Hazrat Syed Abdul Hakeem was begun
flying toward the sky side and then it vanished from the sight of Hazrat
Balhe Shah.
Then Hazrat Shah Balhe Shah wakes up from the dream and at that time
he's facing was shining due to the happiness of getting the spiritual master.
And then he has paid a final visit to the tomb of Hazrat Syed
Abdul Hakeem.

20. The willingness of the spiritual master is the willingness of Allah

Once Hazrat Balhe Shah went to Panduke in presence of his father to

inform details of his dream and finding and getting an indication of the
spiritual master.

Hazrat Balhe Shah upon reaching Panduke went in the presence of his
father and he told him about details of his dream of Hazrat Syed
Abdul Hakeem and who pointed him about the spiritual master.
Hazrat Saqi Shah Mohammed Darwesh was happier very much upon
hearing the details of the spiritual master. And was given congratulation
to his father for knowing his destination.
Hazrat Balhe Shah has asked permission with his father to shift
permanently to Lahore as well as to pledge to the hands of his spiritual
master. Hazrat Saqi Shah Mohammed Darwesh was given permission to his
son with much happiness and told him that “ Abdulla you walk with
sincerity on the way of reality and whatever the spiritual master gives you
advice then act upon it. And do endeavors for the willingness of the
spiritual master as the willingness of the spiritual master is the willingness
the Allah.
Then he was given some money and one turban to Hazrat Balhe Shah
and told him to be given to your spiritual master.
Hazrat Balhe Shah upon getting permission for his going to Lahore from his
father then he went in the presence of his mother and he took permission
from his mother and he went on his journey to Lahore.

21. The spiritual master who was engaged in the remembrance of Allah
at the time of his birth

The name of the spiritual master of Hazrat Balhe Shah was Hazrat Shah
Enayat Allah Quaderi and his father’s name was Maulavi Peer
Mohammed.
And at the outside of the school of Maulavi Peer Mohammed there was
used to sit one Majzub (In Sufism, the Majzoob or Majzub (Arabic: ‫َم ْج ُذ وب‬,
plural: majazib, majazeeb) is a mystical station (ḥāl) that the Muslim saint
(wali) underwent in his journey within Islamic sufism to reach the posture
(maqām) of reacher (wasil) and perfect man (al-Insān al-Kāmil)) and who
has much devotion with him and used to kiss his hands and after every

prayer. And he used to say to him” Oh Peer Mohammed there will be born
one boy in your house. He will be in- comparable in the world of Sufism.
And your family members and people of the world will be proud of him.
And his position with Allmighty Allah will be great. And the people search
blessing in his feet. Then that time came

when Hazrat Enayat Quaderi was born in the house. And Hazrat Maulavi
Peer Mohammed was given his name as Enayat Quaderi. And his son was
engaged at that time in the remembrance of Allah slowly. And he was
looking at the sky. And when his mother was seen this scene then she
began the recital of Subhan Allah. Then his mother will start the recital of
Subhan Allah then at that time he will start remembrance of Allah in his
heart.

22.Hazrat Shah Enayat Allah Quaderi Shuttari in Qusur

The style of teaching of Quran and hadith (saying of the prophet) Hazrat
Shah Enayat Allah Quaderi Shuttari in Qusur was very attractive. And his
eyes were like the twinkling of the stars of the sky and which spread like a
beam in the atmosphere. And there will find a fragrance of light from his
body. And he used to meet the people very little and he has obtained
lessons of the knowledge of the religion from famous and well known
learned persons of his time. And he became perfect. His father died after
he was obtaining knowledge from his teachers. Upon this, he was become
sad and left his house and started tour and travel-ism. During this period in
Lahore, he has met in the comparable learned person of Lahore and rider
of the field of the Sufism Hazrat Mohammed Reza Shah Quaderi Shutteri.
Hazrat Mohammed Reza Shah Quaderi Shuttari was such a spring of the
knowledge that so for this reason a large number persons used to come in
his service from near and far away places and finish their thrust and will
become perfect in his service. And due to the special attention and special
look of Hazrat Mohammed Reza Shah Quaderi Shuttari which change the
life of Hazrat Shah Enayat Allah Quaderi Shuttari and he has reached the
status of a perfect holy person in a short period of time. And Hazrat
Mohammed Reza Shah Quaderi Shuttari was given his saintly dress and sat
him on the seat of advice and teaching.
Hazrat Mohammed Reza Shah Quaderi Shuttari has much love with his
spiritual master. And he used to think of his spiritual master as stars of

eyes. Upon giving saintly dress his spiritual master was given him an order
to go Qusur and engage in the teaching and advice. Even though his
household members were in Lahore. And his land was there in Lahore. He
has left all things in Lahore as per the order of his spiritual master. And as
per the order of his spiritual master, he went to Qusur. Upon reaching
Qusur he has started the advice and teaching circle and a large number of
people came into his teaching advice circle. And were benefitting by his
knowledge of the Islamic religion. And his name and fame were reached
to near and far away areas soon. The people of the Qusur and around its
surrounding areas were entered in the circle of devotion. And day by day
his circle was increased very much.

23. The cruelty on the fakir and result of malice

The ruler of Qusur with his courtiers and flattering friends wants to harm
Hazrat Enayat Quaderi Shuttari. But his every plan and trick became a
failure in this matter. And due to this reason, his enmity was increased with
him. Then the ruler was getting one chance to show his enmity and take
action against him. In his court there were the most beautiful and
attractive dancers was there. And who used to entertain the ruler. Even
though by occupation she was a prostitute woman but she was upset with
his work of dancer in the royal court of the ruler. She was tried to leave her
work two times but due to fear of the ruler, she could not leave the work of
dancing in the royal court. And due to their helpless condition, she was
continued her work in the palace of the ruler of Qusur. That prostitute has
one most beautiful daughter and for her, she was given Islamic education
in the Islamic school. That girl has taken special interest not only in Islamic
education as well as in the knowledge of interest.
One day a prostitute came in the presence of Hazrat Shah Enayat
Quaderi Shuttari and began loud and cry. And due to this reason all
persons present, there were worried in this matter. But Shah Sahib
consoled her

and was the reason for her visit to his place. And that prostitute told
him her condition as follows.
She said that “Your honour I am a sinner woman and the people know well
that I have spent all of my life in the hedgehog of the sins. And this is my
daughter who is beautiful and young and she has kept her from the life of
the sins and was given education of Islamic knowledge in the Islamic
school. And this girl is free from all sins and she chaste is a girl. And the
ruler of Qusur has a look on her and wants to make her a prostitute woman
by force in the royal court for his entertainment. And I want that she
should be away from all sins and spend a life a chaste woman. There is my
request with your honour to marry her.”
Upon request of the prostitute, Shah Enayat Quaderi Shuttari did
meditation so that he could know the willingness of Allah in this matter and
fakir persons used to return to Allah in every matter. In the meditation, it
was given him an order to marry the girl. So he has married that girl at the
same time. When there was peace and comfort to the prostitute then she
went into prostration before Allah for his thankfulness and gratitude.
The marriage event with the daughter of a prostitute woman
of the Hazrat Shah Enayat Quaderi Shuttari which was spread in the Qusur
city. When the ruler has known its news then he became very upset and
angry. And due to this reason, there was started flame of fire of revenge in
his heart. And he has called relatives of the prostitute and was incited and
force all of them to file a case in his court against Hazrat Shah Enayat
Quaderi Shuttari and try and force that prostitute woman to give her
statement that Hazrat Shah Enayat Quaderi Shuttari that due to force and
inciting she was married her daughter to him. The relatives of that
prostitute woman upon force and inciting of the ruler of Qusur has filed a
case against Shah Sahib.
The ruler of Qusur has given the judgment of the case as follows.
1. Shah Sahib to give divorce to the girl.
2. If he will not give divorce then he should leave Qusur
3. If he will not agree to the above two things then he will be killed

The ruler of Qusur thought that Shah Sahib will give divorce to the girl of
the prostitute and he will not leave Qusur as there are many of his
disciples are living here. And in this way, he will get more chances to
disrespect him. And in this way, if he will not accept his two orders then in
this way he will get a chance the kill him in this matter.
Hazrat Shah Enayat Quaderi Shuttari accepted the ruler's order number
two and began preparing to leave Qusur. As per the order of Allah he left
Qusur and was reached in Lahore. At the time of leaving for Qusur, many
thousand-person caught his feet and requesting by weeping not to leave
Qusur and stay in Qusur. And did request him in this matter by weeping as
well as loud and cry.
Upon insisting of the people he told that “ Have patience in this matter be
remember that ruler of Qusur who has taken me out of Qusur but Almighty
Allah will take him out of the world. And the malice on the fakir and its
result will become a story of lesson for the world.”
Hazrat Shah Enayat Allah Quaderi Shuttari left for Lahore from Qusur. And
many thousand disciples and devotees also travel with him in his journey
to Lahore. And due to this reason, the pomp and show of Qusur became
dim and poor.
There was found old enmity in between the ruler of Qusur and Sikhs of
Amritsar. And for this reason, there were fought many battles between
them. In the Sikhs community, Gulab Singh was a brave and fearless
person. But he was defeated every time by Nawab Hussain Khan. At last
Ghulab Singh was prepared one plan and by which Nawab Hussain Khan
was killed silently. And for this aim, he was given fishermen huge money
too. And posted them for the killing of the Nawab of Qusur. And this
plan was kept secret as such that nobody was able to know in this
matter.
Hazrat Shah Enayat Allah Quaderi Shuttari after coming to Lahore from
Qusur was settled down in the area of Maznag and which is known as
Queens road (Fatima Jinnah road). In this area, there was one small

mosque and two wells. And at this place, he was started work of advice
and

teaching. And from here his sun of status and perfection began shining
with full. And there were happened many thousand his miracles here. And
at this place, he was died and buried.
His mausoleum is in Queens road which is famous even today for the
fulfillment of desires and wishes of the general and special persons who
visit his grave.

24. I have come here as a servant and not to become guest

Hazrat Bullah Shah went on the journey of Lahore and went in the
presence of Hazrat Shah Enayat Allah Quaderi Shuttari. And joined himself
in the circle of his teaching. When the teaching session was over then all
the students of reality slowly were left from the shrine. And in the shrine,
all were left except servants, Hazrat Shah Enayat Allah Quaderi Shuttari and
Hazrat Bulleh and he by meditation was able to know the aim of coming of
Hazrat Bulleh Shah. But then he was addressed him “ Oh young man what
is your issue.? All persons have returned back to their houses so you
also go to your house.” Hazrat Bullah Shah told him “ Your honour I have
not come to go back from this place and I want to live in your feet. And
coming from a long distance in your presence.” When Hazrat Shah Enayat
Allah Quaderi Shuttari was heard Hazrat Bulleh Shah’s reply then he was
smiled and told him “Yes I know that you have come from a long distance
but there is our helplessness that we do not have an arrangement for
your stay with us.”
And Hazrat Bullah Shah told him that “I have come here as a servant
and not to become your guest.”

26. Hazrat Balhe Shah in the presence of his spiritual master

By conversation with Hazrat Balhe Shah, Hazrat Shah Enayat Allah Quaderi
Shuttari was able to know the condition of his heart well. And was
accepted his pledge. And his time began passing in the condition of
loveliness. And in him, love of the spiritual master was entered very much
in his heart to the level of courtship. Upon his heart, there was the effect of
the dark color of the love of the spiritual master as such that at every side
except his spiritual master he could see another thing for this reason. He
was living in the condition of being away from the people. And he has said
his condition of love of his spiritual master in his heart as follows.
The colour dyed decent like the red colour of the master

Hazrat Balhe Shah has mentioned decent color usually in his poetry Kafia.
He has mentioned in his poetry about his love, praise, and admiration of his
spiritual master as well as the condition of the strange ecstasy, elegance,
rapture, and thankfulness. And his love level was such increased that at last
that there was not left any difference between Almighty Allah and his
spiritual master.

27. I am iron and he is philosopher’ stone

Hazrat Balhe Shah said about his spiritual master Enayat Allah Quaderi
Shuttari that “ He is the giver of advice, mentor, helper of the union of
Almighty Allah, master,to changer the shape of something, mendicant,
beloved, much-loved, friend, pious and he has called him with titles above
titles and which has mentioned in poetry at different places.

He always used to recite the following couplet.

Oh, you friend you are the spring of the garden.

And you can change particles into valuables
things

Hazrat Balhe Shah used to say his spiritual master was a truly pious person
and owner of the soul and a philosopher’s stone convertor of iron into
gold.

28.The colour of the love of spiritual master upon him

The colour of the love of spiritual master upon him which dyed upon Balhe
Shah that so he has left every door and adopted the door of his spiritual
master and accepted it as venerable. As he Syed as well as a learned
person. But his acceptance of one Arain (Tribe. The Arain (Urdu:) are a
Pakistani tribe who are found mainly in the Punjab province and also that
of Sindh.) tribe person as his spiritual master which is a matter of surprise
and upon like this whatever position he was made in his family and which
he was downgraded in the love of the spiritual master. He did not married
and began leaving household responsibilities. And he used to live always in
the condition of love of the spiritual master. And he used to engage in the
singing always qualities of the spiritual master.

29.The opposition of caste and tribe persons

The sisters and other household persons have prohibited Hazrat Balhe
Shah from having such madness in the love of his spiritual master. But his
ecstasy and his madly in love of devotion of spiritual master could not
decrease. And so for this reason he was faced severe opposition from a
person of his caste and tribe. And he was heard and bear a large number of
taunts of the persons in this matter.

Hazrat Balhe Shah has described the enmity of his caste and tribe person in
the following couplet.
Love is not so easy
As people have taunted me
And from the side of the
friends
I heard from the public and patience

30.Came sisters in his presence to give advice to Balahe Shah

One day members of his family and his sister came to visit
Baba Balhe Shah to give advice and to finish his link with his
spiritual
master. And they have taunted him that you are Syed (a Muslim
claiming descent from Muhammad, especially through Husayn, the
prophet's younger grandson.) person and he is sitting on the door of
Arain tribe person. And Hazrat Balhe Shah said details of this event in his
following poetry in the Panjabi language and its translation and
interpretation is as follows
To see Balhe came to his sisters and cousins
You are the progeny of the prophet Mohammed
Why your heart following of Arain tribe person
So you will get punishment of hell for this case
For getting Arain spring garden you will be asked

31.Balhe the person of the donkeys

When he was upset with the people of family and people of the world
then he has followed a new method and ignores them and so he was away
from them by purchasing some donkeys. And he began himself calling as
Balhe the person of the donkeys.
Hazrat Balhe Shah from his above action he was cleared upon his members

of his family and other persons that “If his spiritual persons are Arain tribe
person then he is not Syed person but he is a person of the donkeys and
he

is an ordinary person. And he has no kind of relationship with his family

members. In the world of the fakir, there is no importance and reality of
name and geneology link. Upon coming under the protection of the
spiritual master the questions, apprehensions, and doubts, and
suspensions which were not found in the heart and which gone away in the
light of the heart.
Hazrat Balhe Shah has held as such the edge of the shirt of Hazrat Shah
Enayat Allah Quaderi Shuttari and never left it. So for this reason in his
poetry everywhere there is find a detailed statement of his real love of
spiritual master, his love and admiration in which there will find
ecstasy, rapture as well as details of the thankfulness.

32.There will be unless no aim so there is no hard endeavor of worship

and mystical exercise

When Balhe Shah became disciples of Hazrat Shah Enayat Allah Quaderi
Shuttari then he has advised him of hard endeavours of mystical exercises
and worship. As Hazrat Shah Enayat Allah Quaderi Shuttari was a follower
of the Sufi chain of Quaderia, Shuttaria. And it is famous about holy
persons of these chains that who involve in hard endeavors of mystical
exercises and worship. Hazrat Shah Enayat Allah Quaderi Shuttari was
pledged in the two Sufi chains of Shuttaria and Quaderia. And it is well
known and famous that the Sufi chain of Quaderia connected with Hazrat
Shaikh Abdul Quader Jilani. And Shuttaria Sufi chain is related to Hazrat
Bayazid Bustami. And the meaning of Shuttar is hot and active. And for this
reason, most of the holy persons of this Sufi chain used to engage in hard
mystical exercise and worship in the jungle areas. So the same advice was
given by him to Hazrat Balhe Shah and he told him that “There will be
unless and until no aim and if there are no hard endeavours and mystical
exercise”

33.To check the power of your soul

When Balhe has got an order of his spiritual master than for mystical
exercise and endeavor he went to Jhang from Lahore in one unknown
place which he was heard the name of the place only before and so he
went to the place lonely. Hazrat Shah Enayat Allah Quaderi Shutari wants
to check the power of spiritualism and the innermost of his disciple. So he
told him that “Abdallah hear to check the power of your soul some time
with severe hunger and some time with thirstiness. And sometimes with
severe sunlight, severe cold and be remember that patience, content, and
trust are pillars of the good building of the Sufism. If one pillar will become
weak then the building will become weak and will be collapsed soon. We
remember that we are taking respiration in the world of facility and helper
of the facility is the only pure personality of Almighty Allah. By living in the
lanes of the other persons it is better to die in the locality of the friend. Go
my prays are with you and Almighty Allah will make your destination of
fondness easy.”

34.He camped at the bank of river Chenab

Hazrat Balhe Shah has remembered the instruction of his spiritual master in
his mind and he went on his journey to Jhang from Lahore. There came
thought in his mind that there is no wealth and money with him so how
there will be an arrangement of residence as well food supply. But he has
rejected those thoughts in the light of the instructions of the spiritual
master. And continued his journey with fondness and interest.
Hazrat Balhe Shah when he has reached the river Chenab then he was
made one hut which was in poor condition. And for the hut, he has
obtained wood from the branches of the trees and covering the sides
of the hut he has got old cloths pieces and mats and old pieces of rags.

35.There is no care of difficulties and the harshness of the season by

him.

Hazrat Balhe Shah was stayed and engaged in the worship in the above
place for many years as per the instruction of his spiritual master. He has
stayed in the area where all seasons come and go with severity and
strictness. When there will be severe rain then his hut will be damaged
badly. And when there start waves of hot wind in the summer season
which will make a man effected by heat by roughness. When there will run
cold iced winds then there will be shivering of the body of the person in
that place. But he was engaged in the worship of Allah without caring
difficulties and harshness of all seasons on the bank of river Chenab. And
there was not decreased his fondness and interest.

36.Fulfilling order of the spiritual master by him at the bank Chenab

river

The peasants who have their agricultural lands in the Chenab river area
have seen the practice of worship and endeavours of Hazrat Balhe Shah
there and they have seen that one young man without caring of the world
who always engaged in the worship and endeavours of Allah. And who
will not extend his hands for needs against others. And one day one
peasant came there in the morning in his presence with the breads of
maize flour and curry. And with much respect, he told him that “Your
honour eat it then he will be happy.”
Hazrat Balhe Shah has eaten one bread with curry much insisting in this
matter and was returned back all other remaining breads and curry to the
peasant. And that peasant told him that “Your honour whether you have
not liked his bread and curry?.” Hazrat Balhe Shah told him that “There is
no such matter. But I have eaten your bread with likeness. As there is the

order of my spiritual master to eat less and be sleepless. So I have

eaten only one bread for this reason.”
The peasant has told the details of his meeting with Hazrat Balhe Shah to
the persons of his community and village persons then a large number of
people began coming in his presence and there was gathered a large
number food items with him and also there was began disturbance in his
endeavor and worship of Allah by Hazrat Balhe Shah. The people have
seen or heard always old persons in hard worship and endavours of Allah
but that young man who was engaged in hard worship and endeavor
without care of the severity of roughness of the season.

37.He was seen spiritual master in the dream

Hazrat Balhe Shah did not live before in such loneliness which he was
passing through at the bank of river Chenab. Now he was upset and worry
by seeing the gathering and large people around him. As this is the order of
his spiritual master so for this reason he did not show any laziness in the
mystical exercise and worship of Allah. When he became sad then he was
seen his spiritual master in his dream and who has consoled him. He was
able to know that due to the look of favour of his spiritual master his
endeavours will not go to waste. And upon seeing his spiritual master in the
dream then he used to engage more and more with fondness and with
interest in the mystical exercise and worship of Almighty Allah.

38.Arrival of Hazrat Saqi Shah Mohammed Darwesh in Lahore

In the books of biographies, it is mentioned that Hazrat Bahle Shah was

engaged in mystical exercise and worship of Allah for a long period of time.
There was one personality on the other side who was worried due to his
separation from him. And who remembered him very much. And that
personality was his mother. She began to demand his husband Hazrat
Saqi Shah Mohammed Darwesh to arrange her meeting with her son

Balhe Shah. But he did not take her wife in the presence of his son so that
there may be a disturbance in his endeavours. And at last, due to helpless
condition as per her demand, he has brought his wife to Lahore and upon
reaching Lahore he was visited the shrine of Hazrat Shah Enayat Allah
Quaderi Shuttari. And Hazrat Shah Enayat Allah Quaderi Shuttari welcomed
Hazrat Saqi Shah Mohammed Darwesh and was asked him the reason for
his visit. And he told him that “Abdullah’s mother is anxious to meet him as
she did not see him for a long period of time. If you give permission then
she will get peace and comfort in this matter.” Hazrat Shah Enayat Allah
Quaderi Shuttari told him that “Shah Sahib how I can send you there and
you are unaware all conditions of Abdullah. If you take your wife to meet
Abdulla then I have doubt that whether Abdulla may become dis-hearted.
And I have not left any room for his teaching and training. And so his heart
is having fondness and interest toward endeavours. So I have doubt in this
matter that upon meeting by both of them it is possible that his mind may
be changed. And I will lose all my endeavours in this matter. I can do in this
matter that you can only meet your son and do not take your wife with
you.”
So Hazrat Saqi Shah Mohammed Darwesh left his wife with the relative in
Lahore and he himself went on his journey to Jhang,

39.Meeting of Hazrat Bullah Shah with his father

Hazrat Saqi Shah Mohammed Darwesh upon getting permission from

Hazrat Shah Enayat Allah Quaderi Shuttari went to the bank of river Chenab
and then at that place he could not find any difficulty to search Hazrat
Bullah Shah there. And when he has seen his son there but he could not
recognize him as his son’s red and white complexion upon passing through
difficulties of seasons after doing hard endeavors did not remain him in the
previous Abdullah there. Young Abdulla was now converted into the shape
of a wise person. He has embraced his son for a long period of time.

And upon seeing his face he began saying him many times “Oh Abdulla
what was happened to you?.”After some time he was realized that his son
was included in the circle of the devotion of Hazrat Shah Enayat Allah
Quaderi Shuttari and who is a person knowledge and person of care and
how he will be careless from his disciple and he knows well that where he
has reached in his endeavors.?

40.The advice of his father

Hazrat Saqi Shah Mohammed Darwesh upon the advice of his son he told
him that “ My son remember that the colour and beauty of the
appearance which will be going to end but and the real elegance of the
man belongs to the inner side.As well as the power of the man belongs to
the inner side only. And by the will of Allah, your endeavors and worship
will be accepted in the court of Almighty Allah.”
Hazrat Bullah Shah’s father Hazrat Saqi Shah Mohammed Darwesh who
was also a person of perfection. And he was given advice to his son. And
all day and night he was observed all scheduled of his son at the bank of
river Chenab. And he feels satisfaction that his son while living away from
him is not wasting time but he was approaching a higher level destination.
The morning prayer was performed by both of them there and after
prayer, he has obtained permission from his son, and again he went on the
journey of Lahore.

41.The sadness of leaving his father

Upon the departure of Hazrat SaqiShah Mohammed Darwesh Hazrat

Balhe Shah was in a condition of sadness for a long period of time. As his
loving father left him from there and in this condition he has many
feelings of separation from his spiritual master there. And for whom he

house and all other things and such person is not with him there. But he
has left overall such thoughts with him and as per of the order of the
spiritual master he began busily in the worship and endeavors with much
fondness and interest. So that his spiritual master may be happy for this
reason. And my spiritual master will be unaware of my prevailing
condition.
Usually, there will be my discussion with my spiritual master as such that
he is present before me. And he was saying his condition of grief of
separation to him.

42.Now leave your loneliness

In the books of biographies, it is mentioned that after engagement of long

period in mystical exercise and endeavors at the bank of river Chenab
when Hazrat Balhe Shah was reached in the presence of his spiritual
master. The period of separation of Hazrat Balhe with his spiritual master
was a period of about six years. During the period of six years upon Balhe
Shah, there was available to him complete guardianship and favour of his
spiritual master. When Hazrat Enayat Shah met with Hazrat Balhe Shah
then he was told him that
“There is now no need of his further isolation in this matter”. And he told
him that “ Abdulla now leave your insolation.”
When Balhe heard the saying of his spiritual master then there were
started tears in his eyes and that now he will present in the service of the
blessing of the spiritual master. And he was weeping very much and he was
embraced with his spiritual master for a longer time. The persons who have
seen Baba Balhe Shah before isolation and were surprised to see his
present condition after his hard endeavors and mystical exercise. They
were unaware that how Baba Balhe Shah has spent days and nights and
how he was upset due to the condition of grief of the separation of spiritual
master.?

43.In the presence of the mausoleum of Hazrat Data Ganj Baksh

In Lahore, during his stay in the shrine of Hazrat Shah Enayat Allah Quaderi
he used to visit the mausoleum of Hazrat Data Ganj Baksh and one time he
was present in the shrine then at that time, there were present many
thousand lovers of the reality there and persons were reciting the poetry
of the encomium and at that time he was recited n in the Panjabi language
and for this, all persons were surprised in this matter and there was
prevailed condition of ecstasy upon the people who were present.
Upon reciting of the encomium in the meeting there was prevailed upon
him the condition of fondness of love and with him, there were
prevailed such conditions upon other persons and they began weeping
and tears were followed from their eyes.
Upon leaving from the shrine of the mausoleum of Hazrat Data Ganj Baksh
and he has disclosed his wish of visiting the mausoleum of the holy
prophet in Madina. And his spiritual master has fulfilled his desire which is
also benediction for himself.

44.Visit of the mausoleum of the holy prophet in Madina

Upon the visit of the mausoleum of Hazrat Data Ganj Baksh Hazrat Baba
Balhe when in the presence of his spiritual master Hazrat Enayat Shah
directly. And his condition of appearance which was showing his condition
of innermost. And his spiritual master was known that Hazrat Balhe Shah
was coming from visiting the mausoleum of Hazrat Data Ganj Baksh. Hazrat
Enayat Allah Quaderi Shuttari told him that “Abdulla what is your
condition.? And when you went there then at that time all was good. And
when you come back then at this time all was not good. So tell me what is
your difficulty with you.?. Hazrat Balhe told by weeping that “Your honour I
am weeping in the fondness of love of the prophet. Today people were
reciting encomium in the compound of the shrine of Hazrat Data Ganj
Baksh. And I have also recited encomium and there was deprived for me
for which I was weeping in this matter.

Upon hearing his conversation Hazrat Enayat Shah Quaderi Shuttari began
weeping and told him “ My son weeping in the love of the holy prophet
and it is more than a benediction. And Almighty Allah will hear your call.
And when Allah will hear your call then you will not remain poor.”
There were tears of devotion in eyes of Hazrat Balhe Shah and these tears
were coming in his eyes for sake of sight of the holy prophet. He by
weeping told that “My pure spiritual master I want to absorb these tears
in the soil of lanes of the holy city of Madina. There is a saying of the
prophet that “One who visited my grave is like that who has seen in life”.
You pray for me.”
Hazrat Enayat Shah after a silence of some time told him “My son Abdulla
do you want to go Madina.?” And Hazrat Balhe told him that “Oh my
pure spiritual master now except sightseeing there is no other thing.”
Hazrat Enayat Shah after again silence of some time told him that “ My son
Abdulla you will get a reply to your question within three days time. And
have patience in this matter and have hope with Almighty Allah. And Allah
is the doer of all the good.”
Hazrat Balhe Shah was become sad upon hearing a reply from his spiritual
master. There came thought in his mind that perhaps there is no in his fate
to visit Madina. So for this reason spiritual master will not say to him wait
for three days in this matter. On the third night when was slept after his
daily recital on the bed then at that time, he was thinking in this matter and
by this thinking, he went into the valley of sleep.

Hazrat Balhe Shah was seen in his dream that “ There is a meeting of light
in which meeting of light there were available great holy persons there.
And suddenly there was find fascinated fragrance in the meeting place
and he has seen a personality of light was there and he was told that “
This is master of the two worlds prophet Mohammed ( peace upon him).”
At the time of Fajr's prayer, Hazrat Balhe Shah went fast to the mosque.
And directly went in the presence of his spiritual master and still there was
time for Fajr prayer and his spiritual master who were there and he has

performed supererogatory Tahjud prayer there. When he has seen him

then he was smiled. He went forward and caught the feet of his
spiritual master and by holding with him and he began weeping.
Hazrat Inayat Allah Quaderi Shuttari began touching his hand on his head
with kindness. And after some time he told him that “ My son Abdulla Allah
is great and a and who has kept the respect of this helpless person. And
who has given you more than this grace and for which you were desiring.
You were desiring to visit the holy city of Madina but Almighty Allah has
visited you the person of Madina. Even you came in the night in wealthy
condition from poverty. My son protects this with you. And follow Sunnah
of the prophet. And keep it remember that one who did not follow
Sunnah of the prophet and who did not reach the destination even upon
his the whole period of his life journey.”
45.Return to Panduke

After the end of his isolation, he stayed in Lahore in the shrine of his
spiritual master Hazrat Shah Enayat Allah Quaderi Shuttari. And after some
time Hazrat Shah Enayat Allah Quaderi Shuttari told him that “Abdallah you
to have to go Panduke as your parents and sisters are waiting for you
there.”

Hazrat Baba Balhe Shah as per order of his spiritual master went to
Panduke. And he was going to Panduke after a period of seven years. But
there was happiness for him for going to Panduke as well as he was
unhappy for living his spiritual master in Lahore. So in the mixed condition
of happiness and grief, he was going back to Panduke upon getting the
permission of his spiritual master.

46.The great tragic event

When Hazrat Baba Balhe Shah went to Panduke then his family members
were happy very much seeing upon him there and they were such happy
that as he came from another country after a long period of time. The small
school was founded with the financial support of Choudhy Pandu which
was become a big educational center. After the death of Choudhry Pandu,
his brother Sidhar and his sons they have followed the anti way of the
Choudhy Pandu.
Choudhry Pandu used to give importance to the Islamic school so for
this reason people from surrounding and near and far areas used to
come to study in the Islamic school.
Hazrat Shah Saqi Mohammed Darwesh who used to take care of boarding
and lodging of the students of the Islamic school and against of this
brother of Choudhry Pandu and his sons when there came administration
of the school in their hands than their behaviours with Hazrat Shah Saqi
Mohammed Darwesh and his family members became worse. Choudhry
Pandu used to give much respect to Hazrat Saqi Mohammed Darwesh.
Against this, his brother and his sons did not like to visit Islamic school
and if they visit the Islamic school then they behave with Hazrat Shah Saqi
Mohammed Darwesh as such that he is their personal employee.
47.Arrival of the spiritual master in Panduke

Hazrat Baba Balhe Shah due to one after another sad event he was used to
living in the condition sadness in the Panduke village during the whole day.
As he has come to Panduke to do service of the persons who were no more
living there and leftover the world. And his house was presenting condition
of veracity as some years ago the house which was full persons now which
was become a place of a deserted house. Some time ago from his house
four persons died. Those persons were such persons who were waiting for
him very much in the house for a long period of time and when he was
reached there then those four persons have left this world. Due to one
after another death events, his spiritual master Hazrat Shah Enayat Allah
Quaderi Shuttari came to Panduke and he embraced him for a long time

and kissed him and at that time he also feeling very much loss of one
guardian for him.
When his spiritual master Hazrat Shah Enayat Allah Quaderi Shuttari came
to Panduke from Lahore then he has requested him in his presence and
told him that “ Your honour take with you to Lahore. And I do not want to
live in the Panduke.” His spiritual master Hazrat Shah Enayat Allah Quaderi
Shuttari told him “ Abdulla still you have to live at this place as there is
your much requirement to this place.”
In spite of great tragedies, Hazrat Balhe Shah was lived in Panduke village
as per the order of his spiritual master. And he was given the
administration of the Islamic school to the teacher and he himself used
to be engaged in the worship and mystical exercises.

48.Take me with you to the Lahore city

When Hazrat Enayat Allah Quaderi came to visit Pandu. At that time, Hazrat
Ballah Shah had requested his spiritual master to take him along with him to
Lahore, and I did not want to stay in Pandu. Then Hazrat Enayat Allah
Quaderi told him, "Abdullah, you still have to stay here as there are many
things for your stay at this place.”

In spite of his grave things and difficulties, Hazrat Ballah Shah has stayed.

In Pandu as per the order of his spiritual master. He has given the
administration of the school to one Maulavi person and he himself was
engaged in the worship and mystical exercises.

49.The helping of one Sikh soldier

The period of Hazrat Balhe Shah was full of political confusion and the

Mughal ruler Aurangzeb died. And upon his death in all over India generally
and especially in the Panjab area, there was a spread civil war. And Sikhs
were begun their endeavors to establish rule in Panjab. In that time of
disturbance, a military group of 2000 Sikh soldiers went toward Multan
with artillery division to attack. When this group of Sikhs reached near
village Matki near Raiwand and they have camped there. In that group,
one soldier belongs to Ghond village and he has requested his officer in
charge one-night permission to visit his village and meet his wife and
children there. And who was residing in a nearby village. The Sikh officer in
charge was given permission to the soldier and the Sikh trooper went to
the nearby village Ghond.
The way of the Ghond village was passing through Panduka village. And
at that time Hazrat Balhe Shah was residing in this village and this village
which was owned by Bhati of Panduka and dyers of this place were very
proud and headstrong. And they were not allowed any troopers to pass
from their village. And they have declared that if any person has courage

then appear there and pass by horses from our area. When that soldier
was passed on the horse from the village then dyer young man has
removed him from his horse and taken his horse. And beaten him very
much and thrashed him on the earth and was taken to the place where
dyers used to dye the leather. And he was open his head cover and put
dirty water in the mouth of the soldier. And he was insulted badly in the
village. On that day village headman, Pandu by chance was not found in the
village. Upon seeing this disturbance Hazrat Balhe Shah was removed the
Sikh solder from a clutch of the dyers and sat him on the horse and taken
him out of the limit of the village. And told him that “ You go from here I
will see what they behave with me?.”
When Hazrat Balhe Shah came to the village upon sending the Sikh solder
out of the village limit then dyers were become oppose of him and they
blame him that he was supported a Non-Muslim person and by that time
village chief Pandu came in the village and he by consulting and taking
advice in the village he was given the order to remove him from the village
by throwing stones at him. But the majority of the people in the village
used to respect him for his piety. So among all of them who were not
agreed to throwing stones at him. Choudry Pandu and Sidhar began
throwing stones at him. Even though due to the timely help of Shaikhu,
Hazrat Balhe Shah’s life was saved but he was injured by stone-throwing in
this matter. The person Shaikhu was son in law of Pandu and he has the
devotion of Hazrat Balhe Shah.

50.The bad behavior of Choudary Panduka

Upon the above bad event, Hazrat Balhe Shah left village Panduke to village
Daftua. And which was only two miles away from Panduke village and at
that time his father and all his sisters were dead. Some respectable persons
of the village have a discussion in this matter and decided to go in the
presence of Choudry Panduka told him that “Hazrat Balhe Shah’s father
was performed the duty of the Imam in the village mosque. And he was a

Syed person. His nobility and gentleness are beyond doubt. When the
people of the surrounding village will be heard that Choudhry of Panduka
village is how such disrespected and not knowing the worth of the
person.
That he has removed one Syed person as well learned person from his
village. This is not the practice of Rajputs and Rathur persons then those
people have decided to go Daftu village and beg pardon with that so that
he may not give curse in his condition of majestic. So that there will be our
destruction and devastation.
Upon this Choudhry Panduka, Sidhar and Shaikhu these 3 persons went to
Daftu village and they have told him that “ We have come here to take you
to our village. And you come back to your place.”Upon this Hazrat Balhe
Shah told him that “ We have left that village so can not go back again to
that village.”
Choudhry Pandu told him that “ If you do not go back to our village then
we will take you there by lifting you by force. Hazrat Balhe Shah refused
one more time. Choudhry Pandu by caught his hand in indecent way has
asked him to come with him to his village. He told him that “ To leave his
hand and he will not go back to that village.”
Choudhry Pandu told him that “ We will take from you by at least pray
or curse and we did not go back from your presence by empty hands.
And upon this Balhe Shah told them that “ He did not have pray or curse
with him.”
Choudhary Pandu was a disrespectful and stubborn person and was
engaged in bitter conversation and discussion and arguments and began
given him his warnings. And he began taken him toward him. So he said
this couplet at this time and its meaning interpretation is as follows.

“Balhe you need to become a warrior with the sword

To strike on his side and kill like infidel person soon
Destroy Pandu and Sidharth did not go to his house
There will live always find much spring in Shaikupura.”

This Shaikpura is not districted Shaikupura but it is a village in Panduka.

And which is habituated and which inhabited by sons of Shaikhu and
who safe him from stone-throwing.
