• Recent survey says, india is the largest two wheeler market in the world, with salse
close to 17.7 wheelers in the year 2016 with 48,000 units sold every day ,Chaina is the
largest market for two wheeler .followed by Pakistan ,Vietnam, Indonesia ,Taiwan and
other Asian countries .with more number of bike on road, come the risk of theft,
• According to the report publish by the national crime records bureau ,in the year 2016
alone 211,844 two wheeler vehicles were stolen in india . Out of which only 46,436
vehicles were recovered .which mean 78% of the vehicles were unrecovered .
• A smart vehicles security using iot is used for accessing and controlling vehicles
remotely smart phone.
• This smart system is created to provide vehicles imformation such as position ,time,and
alarm informed to the owner of the vehicles by either using short message service or
using mobile application .the com- bination of the above technology can be used
synergistically as a smart vehicles security key to control a vehicle from remote location.

Automobile sensors are intelligent sensors which can be used to control and process the
pressure of oil, temperature, level of emission, coolant levels, etc. There are
different types of sensors used in automobiles, but knowing the working of these sensors is
essential. In order to the function of these sensors, here we have listed some popular sensors
used in automobiles which include the following.
The MAF or Mass airflow sensor is one of the essential sensor used in automobiles. This sensor is used in an
engine of the car. This sensor can be controlled by a computer and can calculate the air density in the engine.
If the working of this sensor halts, then the running of the vehicle will be stopped. In addition, the usage of
petroleum will be high. These sensors are classified into two types namely vane meter & hot wire.
