Marvel Studios is set to expand the many possibilies in upcoming What If…? Season 3. The makers dropped the trailer of its animated series, exploring more stories that are far-away from its movies and web shows.
What If…? Season 3 will leave our superheroes make unexpected choices leaving fans with fascinating alternate storylines that will see these iconic characters mutate their worlds in the MCU. Interestingly, the footage for the new season feels like a closure to the arc across the first two seasons.

What If…? Season 3 trailer released

With the Watcher (Jeffrey Wright) taking viewers through the new genres of stories, the new season promises bigger spectacles, and new characters. The trailer gave a sneak-peek into some of these alternative versions of plots around Captain America/Sam Wilson, The Winter Soldier/Bucky Barnes, Hulk/Bruce Banner, Captain Peggy Carter, Storm the Goddess of Thunder, Agatha Harkness, Shang-Chi, The Red Guardian, and numerous others.
This season, we'll also see X-Men entering the seris, just liek they did in the movies. We'll have Mjonir-wielding Storm (Alison Sealy-Smithas), a cowboy Shang-Chi and a mecha Captain America and others. Character like Kate Bishop, Shang-Chi, and Moon Knight have been voiced by their respective live-action actors Hailee Steinfeld, Simu Liu and Oscar Isaac.

Directed by Bryan Andrews and Stephan Franck, the third and final season of What If...? will premiere on Disney+ on December 22, 2024. It'll drop a new episode everyday, marking the eoght-episode season finale on December 29, 2024.
