and he said: Abba, Father, all things are possible to thee; let this cup pass from me: but not what I will, but what thou wiliest.

Jesus said to them: My food is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.
I can of myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge; and my judgment is just, because I seek not my own will, but the will of him that sent me.
Then, said I, Behold, I come, (in the roll of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, God.
But he said to them: I must make known the good news of the kingdom of God to other cities also; for to this end I have been sent.
And he said to them: Let us go into the neighboring towns, that I may preach there also; for I have come forth for this purpose.
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me; because he has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he has sent me to heal the broken hearted; to proclaim liberty to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind; to set free the oppressed; to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.
And Jesus went out thence, and withdrew into the regions of Tyre and Sidon. And behold, a woman of Chanaan came out from those borders, and cried to him, saying: Have mercy on me, Lord, son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a demon. But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying: Send her away, for she cries after us.read more.
But he answered and said: I am not sent but to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. But she came and did him homage, saying: Lord, help me. He answered and said: It is not good to take the children's bread, and throw it to the little dogs. She replied: Yes, Lord; and yet thou canst help me; for the little dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from the table of their masters. Then Jesus answered and said to her: woman, great is your faith; be it to you as you desire. And her daughter was restored to health from that hour.
And he arose and departed thence to the borders of Tyre and Sidon. And he entered a house, and desired that no one should know it; but he could not escape notice. For a woman, whose little daughter had an unclean spirit, heard of him, and came and fell at his feet; (the woman was a Greek, a Syrophenician by nation,) and she besought him to cast the demon out of her daughter.read more.
But Jesus said to her: Let the children be satisfied first; for it is not good to take the children's bread and throw it to the little dogs. She answered and said to him: Yes, Lord; and yd you can help me, for the little dogs under the table eat of the children's crumbs. And he said to her: For this saying, go your way: the demon has gone out of your daughter. And she went to her house, and found the demon gone out, and her daughter lying upon the bed.
I say to you, That thus there shall be joy in heaven over one sinner that repents, more than over ninety-nine just persons, who need no repentance.
Even so, it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven, that one of these little ones should be lost.
So, I say to you, There is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repents.
I have glorified thee on the earth; I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.
And he said to them: Go and toll that fox, Be hold, I cast out demons, and perform cures to-day and to-morrow, and the third day I finish the work.
Now is the judgment of this world: now is the prince of this world cast out.
After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, said: I thirst.
For this reason we also endeavor, whether we remain in the body or depart from it, to be acceptable to him.
For he who serves the Christ in these things is acceptable to God, and approved by men.
For this reason, we also, from the day in which we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to request that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will, in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, so that you may walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, in order to please him in all things, by means of every good work bringing forth fruit, and increasing in the knowledge, of God,
Yes, verily, I also count all things to be loss, for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, on account of whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them to be refuse, that I may gain Christ,
And this is life eternal, to know thee, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom thou has sent.
that I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, by conforming myself to his death,
But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.

For this is the will of him that sent me, that every one who sees the Son, and believes on him, may have eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
Behold, I declare to you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet: For the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
For we who are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened, not because we wish to be unclothed, but clothed upon, that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life. Now, he that has formed us for this very thing is God, who also has given us the earnest of the Spirit.
then we, the living who remain, shall, together with them, be caught up in clouds into the air to meet the Lord, and so shall we be ever with the Lord.
Beloved, now are we the children of God, and it does not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
In my Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and take you with myself, that where I am, you may be also.
And this is the will of him who sent me, that of all that he gives me, I shall lose nothing, but shall raise it up at the last day.
