Bypass is a community created Random Map in Age of Empires II created by Chrazini.
Overview[edit]
Bypass is a random map designed for 1v1 matches. It is a spin on Hideout. Players start in the middle of a large forest, connected through a single path that is closed-off by palisade walls. The sides of the forest hold abundance of gold and stone, as well as bushes for foraging.
Bypass design opens multiple options for players, offering a dynamic style of game despite the closed land map nature of the map. The central path connects both bases directly, but the quicksand avoids construction on it. There is also a single relic found right at the middle.
The middle path allows players to quickly reach the enemy base and besiege it, avoiding some of the common turtling problems from maps such as Arena.
Most of the exterior area is empty, with a few sparsely populated forests.
