The affordable housing lottery is open for Archer Green, a 23-story mixed-use development at 92-23 168th Street in Jamaica, Queens. Designed by Edelman Sultan Knox Wood Architects and developed by Omni New York, the 552,156-square-foot building will yield 387 units. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 351 units for residents from 40 to 130 percent of the area median income, ranging in eligible income from $20,160 to $183,300.

Permits Filed for 1000 Union Street, Crown Heights, Brooklyn

The revitalization of Crown Heights continues apace, and now new building applications have been filed for a site spanning 998-1000 Union Street, one block south of the Franklin Avenue stop on the 2, 3, 4, and 5 trains. The development will rise seven floors and total 23,569 square feet, to be split between 20 apartments. With a generous average size of almost 1,200 square feet, that likely portends condominiums. Fariba Makooi of Fariba Makooi Architects PLLC is listed as the site’s architect, although the contact information points to Karl Fischer, and the project is being developed by Gal Nagar of HML Developments.
