Dark Demonbane is a spell within the Arceuus spellbook that requires level 82 Magic and the completion of A Kingdom Divided to be cast. This spell has a base max hit of 30, but can only be cast on demonic creatures.

By default, Demonbane spells have an accuracy bonus of 20%. With the Mark of Darkness spell being active, the accuracy bonus is increased to 40%, and the player will additionally gain a 25% damage bonus, which is applied after any bonus damage from their equipment. If the mark is cast with the purging staff and the spell is used with it, the accuracy bonus increases to 80%; (40% from the spell itself and another 40% from the mark) and its damage bonus increases to 50%.
