Snapdragon seeds can be planted in a herb patch at level 62 Farming to yield grimy snapdragon, which, when cleaned, are used in Herblore to make potions.
Planting snapdragon seeds can be profitable, as long as the player takes precautions to minimise disease. The use of ultracompost (or the enhanced Fertile Soil spell) is strongly recommended to help prevent disease and increase the average yield to where a decent profit can be made.
Nearby gardeners will not watch over herb patches, nor will a fully-grown white lily plant protect them from disease.
They are obtainable from sources such as monsters, seed packs, and master farmers.

Average harvest yield[edit | edit source]
Snapdragon has a minimum of 3 harvest lives, increasing by 1 for each tier of compost used (for a maximum of 6 when using ultracompost). While harvesting snapdragon, there is a chance to not consume a harvest life dependent on the player's Farming level. This chance scales from 22.7% at level 1 to 31.6% at level 99, interpolating linearly in between.
