Stony basalt is an item that can be used to teleport to the Troll Stronghold entrance, below the climbing rocks shortcut. The stony basalt is consumed when it is used to teleport. It may only be used after completing Making Friends with My Arm.

With level 73 Agility and the completion of the Hard Fremennik Diary, the teleport destination is changed to be on the Stronghold roof, past the climbing rocks shortcut. This alternate destination works like all Agility shortcuts, you may boost to pass the check, although being drained when you otherwise meet the requirement will still put you on the roof.
This teleport can be incorporated into a portal within a Portal Chamber using 100 times the required resources (300 urt salt, 100 te salt, and 100 basalt), or in a Portal Nexus using 1,000 times the required resources (3000 urt salt, 1000 te salt, and 1000 basalt).
Attempting to use the item whilst standing at the teleport destination will result in a game message stating You are already here. You don't want to burn to ashes then reconstitute, just to travel to the same place do you?
