Grand Master Adolar was the leader of the White Knights at the dawn of the Fifth Age. Adolar is featured in The Gift of Guthix, where he is described as being all bone and having blond hair.

Adolar and the White Knights were once allied with the Kingdom of Misthalin, and counselled Raddallin to swear fealty to it before changing their allegiance to Falador.

When Ilme confessed to Raddallin that she was spying for the Narvra tribe and that she had given them false battle plans, Adolar advised his lord not to trust her.

Although some members of Raddallin's court, including the king, had their lifespans prolonged through the use of rune magic, Adolar had refused to join them and died years later, being succeeded by Perior.
