The augmented crystal hammer is created by using an augmentor on a crystal hammer. Researching the ability to create hammer-trons also unlocks the ability to augment crystal hammers using augmentors.[1] It contains 2 tool gizmo slots.

Augmented crystal hammers gain item experience at a rate of 7.8% of the base experience of normal Smithing actions performed while wielding it; this includes smelting bars, smithing bars, and actions in the Artisans' Workshop. Protean bars give half the tool experience compared to skilling with regular materials.

Augmented crystal hammers retain the passive effect of the unaugmented crystal hammer: +1% chance for double progress when smithing any core metal.

This item uses charges stored in the universal charge pack. When the charge pack runs out of charges, the item loses stats and gizmo effects, and can also no longer gain any equipment experience. Full functionality will resume when the pack is recharged with divine charges.
