Blaze Sharpeye is a beacon keeper in the All Fired Up quest and the All Fired Up minigame. King Roald had tasked Blaze with the testing and subsequent management of the beacon network. He can be found near the River Salve on Silvarea.

He is a witness of the suspect in Missing, Presumed Death.

When players light the beacon near him, players may pass Blaze five logs (the same type that were used to light the beacon) for him to tend the lit beacon with, allowing the beacon to stay lit longer.

Blaze can be spoken to toggle warnings for giving logs to beacon keepers and using logs to light beacons. Additionally, he can provide a brief description of the ring of fire, flame gloves and inferno adze, which are rewarded by King Roald for lighting six, ten and fourteen beacons respectively.

Pyromania[edit | edit source]

As with some (or all) of the beacon keepers, Blaze has an impulse to deliberately start fires. This behaviour is called pyromania. He becomes quite crazed when he is talking about lighting fire, and this is shown then his animation changes to a wide-eyed expression and he usually screams something about fire, his chathead takes on a unique, deranged appearance.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • Blaze still claims that the player is required to redo the lighting of the beacons to reclaim spares of the rewards from King Roald, although King Roald now provides spares of the rewards for free.
