Desperate for Artefacts is an Archaeology collection of Giles requiring the ceremonial dragonkin device and ceremonial dragonkin tablet that can be completed after Desperate Measures. Completing the collection for the first time completes the Giles: Desperate for Artefacts achievement and rewards the cosmic pyramid and 1,335 chronotes.

For restoring a complete set of the artefacts, 15,555.6 Archaeology experience is gained.

The ceremonial dragonkin device (damaged) and ceremonial dragonkin tablet (damaged) may be obtained through excavation only if no variant of the artefact is owned or contributed; therefore, this collection can only be completed once.

Completing Desperate for Artefacts will provide progress on both The Contributor and Collectors Assemble achievement groups.
