Guam tar is an item that has two uses in RuneScape. The first is for the Hunter skill while hunting green salamanders, when it is used as bait in net traps. Players need level 29 Hunter, and gain 152 experience points for every one they catch. The second use for Guam tar is as the ammunition for the green salamander used as a weapon.

Members can make Guam tar at level 19 Herblore, to gain 30 experience points. It is made by using 15 lumps of swamp tar on clean guam with a pestle and mortar.
