Makeshift communion is a ritual that can be conducted at level 1 Necromancy. It is the first ritual that a player can perform and is featured in the Necromancy! tutorial quest. It is only performed once, after which it becomes unavailable.
The ritual uses a set of grubby bones and awards the player with three ectoplasm and 100 Necromancy experience. It is used to summon Ted and adds one vessel soul to the Well of Souls.
