Mourners are elves that have joined the Prifddinas Death Guard. They can be found in Mourner Tunnels. They were introduced with the Mourning's End Part I quest. They can be killed for elf slayer assignments.

The mourners can be killed for the Mourner outfit they drop, required for Mourning's End Part I and Part II, Within the Light, and Plague's End. However, the outfit must be worn in order to access the headquarters before partial completion of Plague's End.

One non-attackable mourner can be found guarding the entrance to the room where the gnome is being tortured. Two more non-attackable mourners can be found in the tunnels, disciplining the slaves.

After the events of Plague's End, the attackable mourners are replaced by Knights of Ardougne, which have exactly the same stats, the same drops, and count for elf slayer assignments. All other non-attackable mourners disappeared.
