An off-hand dragon claw is the off-hand version of the dragon claw weapon. It is dropped by Tormented demons, which require completion of the While Guthix Sleeps quest to kill. It requires 60 Attack to wield. It is statistically identical to the off-hand dragon scimitar and does not have any quest requirements (the scimitar requires Monkey Madness to wield), but it is much heavier and has a higher up-front cost.
With a Dungeoneering level of 80, players can attach five chaotic spikes to the claw, creating an off-hand chaotic claw, which requires level 80 Attack and degrades in the same manner as normal chaotic weapons. This process is irreversible, and the upgraded claw is untradeable.
^The total chance of getting any piece of dragon equipment is 1/14. A second equal-chance roll then decides which specific piece of dragon equipment you get, at a 1/24 rate for any specific piece.
^The main hand and off-hand dragon claw are dropped together.
Before the Evolution of Combat, this weapon used to have a special attack. The special attack was re-introduced on 24 January2014, and now requires both the main hand and off-hand claws to be equipped in order to use it. As a result, dragon claws shot up in price briefly, but crashed back down by the end of the year.
