Prime Video fans were left raging at Dwayne Johnson's 'atrocious' Christmas movie Red One following its release.
Claiming it was 'one of the worst films I've ever seen' fans were unimpressed by the £200m film which stars some of Hollywood's biggest names.
The action comedy features The Rock as the North Pole security chief, who finds himself faced with a crisis when Santa Clause is abducted.
His character Callum Drift joins forces with bounty hunter Jake O'Malley, played by Chris Evans, while Lucy Liu stars as North Pole spy chief Zoe Harlow, who is also part of the effort to locate Santa.

They wrote to X: 'Soooo… #RedOne is genuinely one of the worst films I have ever seen. The visuals are atrocious, the dialogue is bland and unfunny, the usually talented cast have zero chemistry and even the action sequences fail to deliver on the entertainment scale. Abysmal stuff';
'I knew the film was going to be bad'; 'The movie Red One is a complete disaster. even watching it for free on streaming would feel like a waste of time'; 'If I was Amazon I'd be suing the Producers of #RedOneMovie. $200million budget?! On what??!'
'Red One is an obnoxious, mean, and weirdly full of toxic masculinity and jingoism. It's one of the worst Christmas movies ever made';
'I think #RedOneMovie goes the same way as something like A Violent Night. By not choosing what it wants to be it doesnt do enough to please anyone. Plenty of paths this movie could go down and you could see them being good. No journey, just a step on each path';
'Saw #RedOneMovie earlier. It's not a classic, and it absolutely wastes it's female characters, but I did really enjoy the world building, and the creature designs are generally pretty cool, too.'
Others disagreed adding: 'Red One is probably one of the best Christmas movies of all time! Dwayne Johnson and Chris Evans are a comedic duo that packs a holiday punch;'
'Really enjoyed it, very well made film and more than just a feel good Christmas style film. Good action and the Polar Bear rocks it. Nice to see a really fit Santa to do the job, not the traditional big belly one.'
Elsewhere, stars of the film, Dwayne and Lucy joined Tyler West on Friday's episode of Lorraine.

Lucy said: 'It's my first holiday movie and it's so full of heart. I'm thrilled because it the first movie that I've done that my son can watch.'
Dwayne added: 'We were laughing all the time. Everyone is cool and egos are checked at the door. We were running to work every day.'
Red One features a star-studded cast including Mad Men alumna Kiernan Shipka, Big Mouth co-creator Nick Kroll and Cheaper By The Dozen actress Bonnie Hunt.
The film was helmed by Jake Kasdan, who previously directed Dwayne in Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle and its sequel Jumanji: The Next Level.
Jake is the son of Lawrence Kasdan, who wrote Raiders Of The Lost Ark and co-wrote multiple Star Wars films including The Empire Strikes Back and Return Of The Jedi.
Red One was meant to come out five days before Christmas last year, and at the time was only planned to be dropped on Prime Video.
However, the Hollywood strikes caused the movie to be postponed to this month, and it is now slated to receive a theatrical release.
At a recent press conference, Lucy revealed that she was initially told she would not be doing much screen fighting in Red One - only to then discover the opposite.

'I had spoken to Jake and asked if I needed to prep anything. He said, no, maybe she’s gonna throw a kick and maybe a punch. That’s it. You’re just the boss lady, and then that’s all it’s gonna be,' said Lucy, according to Movies.ie.
'I show up to the set, we are doing the costume fittings, and then the stunt coordinator comes in, and he says, I just want to give you a little bit of a previz of what we’re gonna do. He shows me this entire action scene. I kicked in; it was like I was alive again. I hadn’t done it in a long time, but it just came back to me.'
The Charlie's Angels star added: 'I love watching action movies. I grew up watching them, and being on the screen, doing action is so exciting, and I think it gets kids excited, girls excited, and women excited.'
Red One bowed in the United Kingdom on November 6 and will be released in movie theatres in the United States next week on November 15.
