Nicole and her extended family are staying at Generations Riviera Maya - a four star family resort hotel in Tulum, which boasts beachfront views and stunning suites and gourmet cuisine.
It comes after Nicole shared a sweet snap of her aunt who she described as 'the joy and light of our family' to Instagram as she belatedly celebrated World Down Syndrome Day, which took place on March 21.

The singer previously became a Special Olympics ambassador because she grew up with Keziah, who has Down's syndrome.
Before Scherzinger moved from Hawaii to Kentucky as a child, they were raised together and formed a close relationship.
Nicole has been enjoying some much-needed family time on the tropical getaway, which she has been actively documenting on Instagram.
On Saturday, the singer posted a jumping snap with her three nieces in the sea and captioned it with an inspirational quote.
She wrote: 'Until you spread your wings you will have no idea how far you can fly. Happy Saturday y’all!'
