It’s annoying when your FMC misreads small incidences and shrugs them off and innocuous things when they are breadcrumb trails. I also hate that Shiloh is in denial. I love the guys but Knox’s hot and cold is annoying.
I find Shiloh being bullied by kids at school, attacked by some rando dude who can’t take no for an answer and the sheriff while also being in WITSEC somewhat far fetched. It’s insane to me that all of this keeps happening to her.
Now Logan I get we are supposed to be giving him a pass due to his grief or something but what he did with Shiloh and continues to do is absolutely not ok. What he did was unacceptable. He probably will lead X to her… sigh.
The ending was crazy and I’m somewhat sick of the cliffhangers being where the books end. ...more

I honestly given the title thought this was going to be a sex fest erotica however this pleasantly surprised me. In fact there isn’t much sex in this book at all, at least not with our FMC or Hs’. But this is a new to me world with alphas and omegas and betas and how they handle things like heat. The world building is minimal but we get the idea that omegas are revered. They are catered to, and courted. We get to see how Pack Knight handles things from their povs as well.
It took a while to get going and there was a ton of lead up to them even meeting, like 45% of the book. But I enjoyed it. I don’t like Roxy too much tbh. She seems pretty judgmental....more

The plot takes us on an adventure to get ready for this huge Blood Moon Battle that’ll take place in a few months. Aria and her mates go on an adventure to help with that process and pick up her other mates along the way. But this book spends a lot of time on the lead up to the battle. Then the battle happens about 87% in and then it ends abruptly. Like. We had all this chaos, all this death and for what? To open the portals…this couldn’t have been done without killing a bunch of people? It still doesn’t make sense. I truly don’t get the ending at all and in addition to it the story isn’t finished. But apparently we are getting a new set of characters. Honestly if I wanted to read Wyatt’s story I think it should be a prequel book and then you could have him finding his mate after this. And even so having his pov in Aria’s books helped lend that we don’t need him to have his own book. Also I truly thought Caleb was going to be a mate of Arias and I was disappointed it didn’t happen.
Too much is still left unresolved and I’m not sure I want to continue with another set of stories and have to start over and rebuild the world with this new information the next book will surely provide.
The battle ending was very jarring and seems to be a waste given how it ended. ...more

Another lots of things happen book, but I enjoyed the ride. I think Bubba is being weird, or while I sorta understand his POV, I wish he’d just talk a bit more about it and be more open. But I like that they are having struggles and problems, and they need to work through these things. I like Rachel though I’m not sure how I feel about Cheryl. I think Patty and Sharon are ridiculous but such is high school life.
Frankie’s mom sucks, but I’m wondering where all that’s going and how those choices will affect Frankie’s scholarship prospects.
Overall I am enjoying the book and really enjoying seeing the guys text thread as well as some of their povs. That’s been something missing from the previous books. There are still some typos but not nearly as many as last book.
Side not there some SA that goes on in this book, and the reactions really hit me in the feels....more
This one was long, so long it felt that it kind of dragged a bit and then the showdown was just kind of a letdown. Barely any 3.5 Long Spoilers within
This one was long, so long it felt that it kind of dragged a bit and then the showdown was just kind of a letdown. Barely any tension, barely Clarissa getting hurt or attacked or anything. She released a dam and that worked..sort of. But she got the drop on the creepy prince and then was able to deal with the elf queen? It just was too easy and didn’t feel done or complete.
We spend so much time relationshiping, which is good, and also meandering that idk this whole ending was kind of a let down. The journey to get here was great but all that work and effort Clarissa did, and then it started happening off page. And we got less and less of her learning magic or new things, we got less of her practicing, she still does but it’s more of a minor scene then a major scene and I think we should have seen her struggle, have a bit of failure.
Also as to her name, so was it actually Liv? If she’s a vessel of the goddess or whatever why couldn’t she restore Clarissa’s memories? The story isn’t bad I just feel like I got left on the hook. The epilogue is of the Lady in Waiting for a spin off story, which tbh makes me slightly miffed bc I would like to see an epilogue with Clarissa…which there is one. Right after this first epilogue. Now in this it’s basically a sex scene with 3/4 mates and they are ok with sharing…in the bedroom. Idk how I feel about this since I know Tor wouldn’t have an issue but to say that Vae wouldn’t…or Grayson…really….I think this included Grayson…maybe not but tbh after reading this ending I wasn’t wanting to read a mostly sex story epilogue. I wanted some of those issues I brought up wrapped up.
Overall the journey was great the ending was a slight letdown. It wasn’t as big or huge epic fight as I wanted....more

Honestly I’m devouring the series even with my frustration of people saying things and then Clarissa not insisting they address said topic. This happens numerous times in this book so I completely felt Clarissa’s frustration.
A lot happens here. We get to finally learn more of this world and get to see more of it.
I’m surprised Grayson gave in so quickly. Especially with his hatred of elves.
There were still some typos and some rehashing that was said only a paragraph ago that needs tidying but overall really enjoyable to read despite it also being emotionally heavy at times....more
Not much has happened on the relationship front. We know that Clarissa is being pulled in multiple directions in this book. BuReally really intriguing
Not much has happened on the relationship front. We know that Clarissa is being pulled in multiple directions in this book. But SO MUCH happens. So much info, so many people, so many places. I’m not even certain I know where this is going or who we need to fight, it seems like we need to fight on all fronts. I am IN IT.
Excellent, I highly recommend. Though there are some typos and editing errors a lot of repetition of certain phrasing and a few scenes rehashed after happening off page, which isn’t my favorite....more
