We follow the main character, Liv's, pov. She's never really had many friends, but when she meets Beth and Binnie they create an airtight bond, or so she thought. When Ange is introduced into their group Liv now feels on the outs and she can't keep up. Her and husband, Pete, struggle financially, so when Ange offers to pay for their trip to Greece she agrees for fear of missing out. Who would take out a handout like that? Crazy!
There was too much drama and finger pointing cattiness for my liking. Also, it seemed the story jumped around at times leaving it hard for me to stay engaged because it took me a minute to figure out what time period we were in.
I was lucky enough to both read and listen to this one. Louise Williams did a fine job narrating, but she made Liv sound like a bratty teenager at times. 8 hours and 38 minutes and easy to follow along at 2x.
