Adorable! I just love Sarina's Vermont books. All that beer and cider and the pastries. This book was all beer and family and criminal exes. Nash is so adorable and Livia is so skittish and scared. And to get to our happily ever after we first have to survive Livia's ex and we have to make Nash's dad a bit less grumpy so that Nash wants to stay and work for the family beer business forever! And we love to read all about that!
Great romance! It was funny and sweet and sexy and vermonty and beery! READ IT!

Second Generation here we come! Callie and Lewis have been in love since they were kids. But seven years ago they broke up and now hate each other. They still love each other - obviously - but of course it won't be easy to fight for that love while hating each other and with Lewis living in London and Callie back home in Ardnoch. But one night at his sister's party changes everything...

The next book in Sam's Highland series! This time we jump ahead in time a bit. Lewis and Callie are all grown up! He's an architect in London and she's back home from Paris to work in her mom's bakery! We go back in time a few times to see how they got together and how they broke up. But mostly we watch them fall back in love and dealing with being back home. Back home with all the Adairs and old friends and enemies...and all the things. And like in all the Adair and Highland books we have this tiny suspensy mystery in here too.
From the covers to the final words ... Sam's Scotland books are just beautiful! Callie and Lewis got on my nerves a tiny bit here and there for being too immature. Just talk to each other ... jeez! But I loved reading this. It was so sweet and sexy and adorable and funny and we got to see ALL the people again. Can't wait to see what will happen with Eilidh in the next book! Forever the Highlands
NORTHERN TWLILIGHT was another beautiful book in the Highland Series! Sweet and funny and sexy and just adorable! Run to your nearest bookdealer for your own grown-up Lewis - this one is MINE!

We've all read A Thousand Boy Kisses. We know Savannah's big sister Poppy died four years ago. Four years of grieving and not really living for Savannah. She finished highschool and Harvard is waiting in the fall. But she's nowhere ready to move to a big city all alone. She is so not done grieving. How does one get over something like that? Her therapist thinks a five-country trip with other grieving teenagers is just the medicine that might help. Off to Europe and Asia we go. Enter Cael. His big brother died a year ago and Cael is so mad and angry and sad and all the things. He not only lost his brother but also his love for hockey. He didn't want to go on this trip but his parents kinda forced him. And now here's this beautiful southern girl who might just make him feel something different than grief for the first time in a year. Can those two broken kids help each other to finally start enjoying life again?

Ugh! That was so adorable. Not as super-cry-festy as the first book. But I still cried A LOT! I loved the whole traveling part of it all. I love to do some sightseeing in my books. Poor Savannah and Cael and the other four kids. They are stuck so deep in their grief. They need this trip to work. They need to start living and be able to think about their future again. It will be a long and hard journey...but we're right there rooting for them to make it out of those super hard times. I loved reading this. It was sad and heartbreaking, but also so sweet and hopeful and ... just beautiful. Savannah is so sweet and broken and Cael is broken and grumpy. But they're just the perfect person for each other. So adorable. And heartbreaking and all the things.
It was still a tiny bit too much for me when it comes to believing what happens after death et cetera. It wasn't the extreme religious thing like the first book. But it was still a bit silly. But pfft - I still loved reading it!
A THOUSAND BROKEN PIECES was such a sweet + heartbreaking love story. Full of grief and healing and traveling and friendships and love and family and all the things. Just beautiful! READ IT!!

They wasted so much time! They could've been happily married for over a decade but ... nope. But now they get a second chance. I loved reading this. We all remember Chloé's dads from their own trilogy. And yes, I said dads. And not only two dads. Three! Now Chloé is finally old enough to know what she wants. And she wants to go to a private sex club for her 19th birthday. The dads can't know obviously. She's immediately fascinated by the two owners of the club. Long time couple Ethan and Zayne. And those two are just as fascinated by that beautiful innocent girl.

I loved Chloe's dads books so I just had to read this. It sounded so good. Chloe with two guys. Just my thing. But what is not my thing is the whole sex club part. And even worse: the whole Dom thing. Ew. #ConstantCringe So I almost stopped reading in the very beginning. But I kept on going... And it got better. I still HATED the whole sumbissive part, the whole Power thing and the SIR and kneeling and all that cringey talk. And I didn't like that Chloé is only just 19 - that's too young! But it was also cute and sweet and sparky and porny and a bit heartbreaking with the guys' pasts and families. I also hate that we have to wait for three books. Why? One slightly longer one would've been enough. I hate waiting - it's horrible with my book alzheimers! I'm not sure if I'm going to read the next two books. But I think I will. I'll just fast forward through all the dom stuff. I want to know how the dads will deal with everything! LOL!
It's not the book's fault that I hate that porny genre. I love Ella's Chicago world and I'm pretty sure that this will end up being a very cute and sexy trilogy.
CONFESSIONS: ETHAN was a great start in this verry sexy and cute MMF romance trilogy spin-off! READ IT!

Winter + BJ aka Randall Ballistic
We're back in the world of the Pucked and All In series. Winter is pretty new in town. She and her parents just moved into grandma's old cottage. Very old and in need of lots of repairs, but it's better than the trailer park. She dreams of going to college and playing hockey. But both those things cost money that she just doesn't have. She's working at the local bakery and using old second hand skating gear. Then she meets BJ. He almost ran her over with his rich boy car. She should hate everything about him. But he's so sweet and flirty and adorable and hot. And he asked her to come to the hockey arena for some skating time - for free! How can she say no to any of that?!
══════════════════
[image] [image]
Adorable!
First... If you're book-weird like I am ... I suggest you read LITTLE LIES & BITTER SWEET HEART first - there's a lot of BJ in there and all the other people are in here too! And if you're super weird - again like I am - just read Helena's Pucked and All In series too before you get to this 2nd generation series!
I loved BJ's story! We've been waiting for his book since we first met him! He and Winter come from completely different worlds. Can't get anymore different than those two. BJ has the perfect life. Perfect parents and siblings and friends. Winter has two parents who kind of checked out of life. Alcohol. Abuse. At least they're still working, but without Winter's help they wouldn't be able to keep a roof over their heads or the power and water bills paid. Can two people from two such different worlds find a happily ever after together? We'll see. I just loved reading this. We don't get the silly cliché fight or misunderstanding that keeps them apart for ages. It's all so sweet and good and I loved that. Of course we have lots of problems and heartbreaking moments. But Winter has finally found her place, her family with BJ and his group of many people. It's just perfect. I just love this series. All the people are so great and all have their own 'things' that will make a great book one day!
This was a really great new adult love story. Not too much drama. Just beautiful and funny and sexy and heartbreaking moments. Full of love and friendship and found family.
I want to see this series on TV one day!
Tiny litte PS. I don't like the cover guy. That is so not how I imagine BJ. No idea why but this guy just looks like he's a 35 year old who is shooting a promo video for a 2002 punk porn movie. And another thing. I complained about that in the last book too. The hero is always a bit too soft for my tastes. All this CAN I HUG YOU? CAN I KISS YOU? I don't want him to force himself on her - she might have some past abuse problems - but this constant asking is so not sexy.
SHATTERED TRUTHS was a such beautiful + heartbreaking + sweet + sexy New Adult Love Story! Full of love and friendship and found family and ice and hockey and all the good things! I just loved it! Run to your nearest book dealer for your own Winter + BJ - they'll be sold out in no time - and this one is MINE!

Natalie + Easton
Please don't read this book if you haven't read DRIVE yet. REVERSE is about the children from the stars of the first book - you need to know all about what happened back then to really enjoy this second book!
As I said - this book is about the kids. Remember back in DRIVE, when Stella fell in love with not-yet-rock-star Reid? But things didn't work out because he wasn't ready for her. So she went and fell for her boss at the newspaper: Nate. They were happy for a long while, but Reid was always Stella's real love and in the end they got their happily ever after. And Nate was left heartbroken, but he found his happy end just a short while later too. That's how this second generation got started. Our heroine: Natalie. 22. Journalist. Working at her dad Nate's newspaper in Austin. And our hero: Easton. 22. Soon-to-be-rock-super-star. Seattle. Son of Stella and Reid.
The story starts when Natalie's dad asks her to go through the archives to find important and interesting articles & snippets for their 30th anniversary edition. That's how she stumbles across private emails between her dad and famous music journalist and rock star wife Stella! Natalie is shocked and intrigued and so much more. Natalie and her dad have the best daughter and father relationship ever, but he never mentioned Stella before and Natalie wants to know more. She needs to know everything. That's how she ends up in Seattle under false pretenses to interview Easton about his upcoming debut album - but she really only wants to find out what happened back then. Why the first love of her dad's life suddenly married a rock star!
Don't worry if it looks like I'm telling you the whole story - this book is a million pages long. We're only at the very beginning now. But we already know that Natalie and Easton will get the same kind of epic love story their parents had. But will it be a happily ever after one? With their parents and their pasts? With the first meeting based on lies and blackmail? We'll find out! ...more

If you haven't yet read The Paper Swan you need to run to your nearest amazon and get it. You really should read it before starting this book. It is possible to read this second book as a standalone, but Rafael is in Damian's book so much! Please read it first!
Okay ... The Night Blossoms. We all remember Rafael's story from the first book. But of course we only got a few quick details. And now we get more. So much more. We go back between the past and present a lot. And we hear all about Rafael's loves as well. There's his wife Vee in the present. There's his childhood sweetheart Lina. And then there's Raven - connected to cartel business and student & flower girl Yvette. *fingeronchinconfusedlook* (I'm tempted to walk to a jukebox and play the song To All The Girls I've Loved Before here!) And then there's the fact that Rafael kind of disappeared in the present time and his wife is trying to find out what happened. While also trying to prove that she's not guilty of any crime to the police. Plus there's a lot more in our darlings' lives to worry and be scared about....
What will happen with Rafael and his ladies?? Will we get our happily ever after?? READ THE BOOK TO FIND OUT! ☺
═════════════════
[image] [image]
I did a Paper Swan re-read before starting this and I'm really glad I did. You don't really have to, but why the heck not? :D But please do. Like I said we go back in time a lot to different places in Rafael's life. I might even say that it was a tiny bit too much - it's a bit confusing at times. For some people - not for me of course. LOL! Rafael's story looks very complicated and confusing if you don't pay attention. We basically know what happened to him in his life up to this point - but we missed so much too. His love-life for example. And that's quite a life. LOL! This book was so mysterious and sad and heartbreaking! We have this darkish, hopeless mood through most scenes and that's what scared me a bit. I wanted that happy end asap, but of course that's not how books work. It takes us a long while to sort through all those mysteries and dangers and heartbreaks and whatnots ... never knowing if we'll get there at all. It doesn't look very promising at times. But through all those confusing and mysterious and dangerous and heartbreaking moments... this book was such a beautiful love and life story. I wouldn't have minded a hundred more pages of romance moments. Of falling-in-love moments and sweet and cute couple moments. Those got a bit lost with all the other lady moments and university-talk moments. But still - I loved reading this story so much! And I wouldn't mind if this Paper Swan/Night Blossoms world would end up on Netflix one day soon!
THE NIGHT BLOSSOMS was such a beautiful love story! So full of Mystery. Danger. Heartbreak. All the things! Run to your nearest amazon for your own Rafael - this one is MINE!
If I had to complain a bit more about things... the mysteries are all a bit too obvious. And the bad guy is a bit silly because it's so pointless somehow. It doesn't have to do anything with anything ... you'd expect something from their pasts to come calling in a bad way, but this was just a bit weird. But pfft - I still loved reading it.

Before you start reading this book please read Broken French first. Both are standalones, but all the people are in both books! And this one spoils a tiny little bit in the beginning, because when Stolen English starts, Broken French is not yet done!
Okay. Andrea and Even. There have been sparks for years. Both are working on Xavier's yacht. Well, Andrea is the chief steward and works only five months of the year on the yacht and Evan is Xavier's security guy and best friend - so he's around Xavier all year. Ten years ago Andrea got out of a very dangerous marital situation and Xavier hired her to work on his boat. Andrea and the reader don't know exactly what happened back then or how deep Evan is involved with things. Andrea just turned 33 and she thinks that she's finally able to leave the security of the yacht and live a normal life. She got a job in a museum and a cute little apartment in the little town of Saint Paul de Vence. But Evan is not letting her go that easily. How can he keep on protecting her when she's not on the yacht anymore? So he rents the room next to hers for the next few months.

ADORABLE!
I loved Broken French so much, so this book didn't have it easy with me. But I really loved it! It didn't have the same exact oomph for me though ... It had all the things: a super hot bodyguard hero, romance, suspense, sparks, sexy times, funny times, heartbreaking times, sightseeing times, adorable moments, et cetera. And I really enjoyed reading it and I LOVE Evan and Andrea so much. I just loved Xavier and his girls a tiny bit more. Maybe it was Andrea's sad past that made the mood a bit darker. And also the wasted years made me a bit sad or maybe even somewhat angry at them. But that doesn't mean that this second book was bad in any way. You won't be able to stop reading - you need to find out how everything will end.
Like the first book, this one was pretty long - and I could say that it was a tiny bit too long with a few scenes or back and forth moments that could've been cut. But it's still all so very read-worthy. Nothing was too much or redundant - I could've read another 150 pages. But it still felt a tiny bit long at various points. No idea what I mean. LOL.
I would not mind seeing these two books as two seasons of a show on Netflix one day. With all the beautiful places and the eating and drinking and the hot guys!
From the beautiful cover to the last scenes in the final epilogue - this was a such a sweet + heartwarming romance with some very serious topics! READ IT!

Adam was happy being a Navy SEAL for half his life. But now - for reasons we don't yet know - he's been forced to 'retire'. Uncle Sam let him go with no money, no insurance ...nothing. He does some carpentry handywork to be able to afford his tiny roach-infested apartment. Then he gets a call from a lady who knows way too much about him and his situation ... and she offers him a job he just can't say no to. Rescue this CEO woman from Chinese kidnappers in Shanghai. That woman is our leading lady Angela. She was supposed to take it slow at work. Not travel so much anymore. Her private life has changed recently and she wants to be home more. Just this one deal in China and then she can stay at home for a while. Yup. That didn't work out quite as planned ....

I really enjoyed reading this. A real suspensy ex-SEAL action-movie kind of love story. We immediately like Adam and Angela and we don't know if we can trust this lady on the phone... Who are the bad people here? We'll find out! And we'll do that while falling for each other obviously. ...more
Before I start my review.... If you have never ever read a Harlan Coben book - you'[image] [image] [image] [image] [image] [image] [image] [image] [image]
Before I start my review.... If you have never ever read a Harlan Coben book - you've obviously made a huge mistake in your reading career. Huge. ☺ But you can still read this one. Win has been in all 11 Myron Bolitar books, but this is a complete standalone mystery. BUT, if I were you, I would start with book #1 - Dealbreaker! Please! Win is just too great to miss out on even the slightest mention of him in another book. ☺
OK - here's my review ...
WIN! IS! BACK! With his own book! I was so excited to get started with this, I almost didn't start it at all. I was just too excited. And afraid. Because once you start it, it will inevitable end. Ugh. If I had to pick one book-world to read for the rest of eternity ... it would be Win and Myron's world!
Ok... back to WIN. The book. Win is still his usual waspy legend self. Living his best Manhattan bachelor life. And now he's suddenly a little bit of a suspect in a murder/theft combo. But Win has never seen the dead guy. But what he has seen before, is the 200 million dollar painting on the dead guy's wall. A painting that was stolen from his grandfather's study 20 years ago. What he also recognizes ... is the custom-made suitcase with his initials on it - also found in the dead man's apartment. What is happening? And what does his cousin Patricia's kidnapping two decades ago have to do with things???
LET'S FIND OUT! ☺

WIN FOR THE WIN!
I know! He would Win-roll his beautiful eyes at this. ☺ But it's true. I just loved reading this! I was soo shocked and excited when Harlan announced this book. I couldn't wait to get my hands on it. And now that I'm done with it ... I'm sad. Why didn't Harlan write some tiny 134224 more pages??? Ugh. ☺ But still - it was a beautiful story. Well, not beautiful as in a cute romance or something. It was a WIN story. With lots of Myron mentionings - but he's not in this! But he was definitely here in spirit. Win loves Myron and he loves to quote him. Adorable. The story is great too. Typical Win/Myron/Harlan mystery. You can guess all you want, but you won't ever guess what's happening. So I never even try, I just enjoy reading. And I loved the story. I loved the moments when we see a different Win. We never really heard his thoughts or saw his secret emotional smiles. He loves Myron, Ema, his family and close friends. He doesn't really have many people in his life. Ugh, I could write so much about poor Win. But he's a happy little dude most of the time. He loves life. He loves himself. LOL. Now he just needs to find out what is happening with this case! And he does of course, but it takes us a while to get there. I wouldn't have minded a few thousand more whiles though ...
I just love Harlan's books! And this time, with Win having to do it all by himself? Just as amazing as Myron's books. But I also want them to work together again one day soon! Would next week be good for you Harlan? K. Thanks.
Please Netflix... find the perfect Win & Myron and let Harlan write the script. I so need this!
WiN was the perfect Harlan Coben Mystery! But it was also so much more! I just loved it! Run to your nearest amazon for your own Win - this one is MINE! ☺

That was cute and adorable. Not my favorite in this series though. I just don't like the whole undercover and lying scenario. And I didn't like their first official meeting in the park... So creepy and weird. I would've called the cops! But the story ended up being pretty funny and adorable and sexy. I really liked Gabe & Alex. Just the whole lying part through the whole book was too much for me.
But the cover is one of the prettiest in the series - I just love the color!

That was adorable! A fun and crazy and farmy and hockey-y enemies-to-lovers romance! I just loved reading it! Maggie and Tate hate each other so much - even though they have no idea why. Of course there's also mega attraction - which makes everything even harder. LOL! I loved it. But it's not all hate-to-love fun. We also have some serious farm-family-business stuff to deal with - on both sides. I was on the edge of my seat hoping this would all end well for everyone!
Great start into this new True North World that Sarina Bowen created. But what did we expect, right?!

Enter Whit. He’s four years younger and currently the star on the local Hockey team. But it's not his dream to be a hockey pro. He can't wait to be done with college to go work on the family farm with his brother. He's very new in the gay world and ready to get laid for the first time. And he's also very attracted to straight Rainn. Who appoints himself as his wingman, so that the poor boy can finally lose his V-card.

Adorable! So funny and cute and colleg-y and hockey-y and farm-y. I loved reading this. Poor Whit is trying so hard to start his best gay life. And Rain is trying to help. But of course we know it’s all in vain, because we know they’ll fall for each other. Just adorable. I loved watching them trying to not be attracted to each other. So funny and cute and ugh… I just adored those two. Of course it’s not all cute and sparky and sexy. They both – but especially Rainn – have a lot of stuff to figure out still. Future. Job. Dreams. Hopes. Love. Adorable Romance! Great supporting cast too - the family, friends et cetera.

Adorable!! I was really excited to get started with this new book store series. Vermont. Plus books. Plus Wine. Plus hot gay guys? What more can a reader want!? And it was so cute and funny and chicken-y and book-y. I just loved reading this. Harrison is so adorable nerdy and stuffy - at least at first. And Finn is your typical super hot muscly farmer guy with a brain. I loved this. It felt a bit fast and insta - a bit like a novella, but I really liked the story and the mom and the family and the animals and the locations and the teasers about upcoming stories!
Great start into this third series of Sarina Bowen's True North World.

We're back in Vermont! We all remember the Busy Bean Coffee Shop/Bakery from Sarina's True North series. Audrey and Zara are the boss ladies. And now Haley has her first day there too. She needs to make some money while dreaming of making a living with her own shoe/boots/belts/bags creations. Beck is her model sister's ex. The guy she's had a crush on years ago. And suddenly he's back in town and right in the middle of Haley's new professional coffee-shop-life. LOL!

Adorable!! I was really excited to get started with this new coffee series. And it's so very coffee-y! Beck is a coffee roasting hottie! I could almost smell all the roasting coffee goodness through the pages! The romance part is also very adorable and very sexy. But also so very complicated. Haley's sister Jess and Beck did not end their relationship on good terms. We don't yet know what happened back then, but it wasn't good. For Beck. Jess seems to be the bad guy here. But she's Haley's sister, she'll always be in her life, and so we just know that it won't be an easy road to that happy end for our darlings! But we love every single page of that journey!
Beautiful start into this second series of Sarina Bowen's True North World.
I could read these kinds of books every day for the rest of eternity!

Back in New York with the guys from The Company. This time it's Gunnar's story. We already met him in the previous book - he's boss man Max's bestie from college. Gunnar used to live in New York. He grew up poor and worked as a barkeeper during college. That's where he met Posy. Fast forward one summer and after one amazing kiss he was fired and nothing ever started between them.
Now he's back in New York for his job ... working undercover - or rather trying to work - as a barista in Posy's fancy coffee and pie shop. There's a murderer on the loose and someone seems to be sending murder-related emails from the coffee shop.
There's still this huge attraction between Posy & Gunnar, but we're all fifteen years older and wiser - we won't fall for each other again ... right?!

I loved reading this. I loved the whole pie/coffee shop vibe. I could almost smell the place. I adored Posy and Gunnar. And Max! (I so need his story next!) This was a great romantic & sexy suspensy mystery love story. I can't really remember due to my bookalzheimers, but I think I liked the first book more. But I really liked this one too! I could read these kinds of books every day for the rest of eternity! I also wouldn't mind seeing this on Netflix one day!
Can't wait to get more Company soon! I need Max!
LOVERBOY was an adorable + funny + sweet + exciting + mysterious Undercover-Spy-Barista-Pie-Baker-Romantic-Suspense!!! I loved reading it! Run to your nearest amazon for your own Gunnar - he'll be sold out in no time - and this one is MINE!
There are two tiny little things that bothered me a bit - and only me, don't worry. ☺ Sarina overused the words PLATE-GLASS-WINDOW. I mean, I can understand if it gets mentioned once or twice. But by the third of fourth time, couldn't you just say window? Front window? Shop window? Anything else. And then the ANYWAY at the end of a sentence. You know the one I mean. What's his deal, anyway? What did he do in New York, anyway? I hate that. No idea why. It sounds so not Sarina-ish, so ... immature or no idea. I just didn't like it, and it happened SO much, I stopped counting. But as I said - nobody will notice that - that's just my weird reading brain! ☺
