ELLENDALE, N.D. — The Edgeley/Kulm-Montpelier girls’ basketball team held the Ellendale Cardinals to single digits in every quarter on their way to a 54-17 win on Tuesday, Jan. 14, at Ellendale High School.
Jaelyn Bertsch scored 14 points to lead the Rebels (5-5). Mya Glynn’s six points paced the Cardinals (3-8).

The Cardinals are back in action at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 16, at Medina/Pingree-Buchanan. The Rebels return to the floor at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday at LaMoure/Litchville-Marion.

E/K-M boys’ basketball team takes down Kidder County
STEELE, N.D. — The Edgeley/Kulm-Montpelier boys’ basketball team got a 61-36 win over Kidder County on Tuesday at Kidder County High School.
The Rebels’ (6-3) Joe Kramlich led all players with 18 points. Bryce Larson led thehe Wolves’ (2-6) with 15 points.
The Rebels will attempt to win their third consecutive game at at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18, at Sargent County. The Wolves return to the floor at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 17, when they host Ellendale.

South Border beats M/P-B girls’ hoops
WISHEK, N.D. — The South Border girls’ basketball team used a big performance from Macy Monson to get a 58-53 win over Medina/Pingree-Buchanan on Tuesday at Wishek High School.
The Mustangs (3-9) senior scored 28 points to lead all scorers. The Thunder (2-10) were led by Brynn Sorenson’s 20 points.
The Mustangs will look to make it two wins in a row at 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 16, when they go to Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter. The Thunder return home at 7:30 p.m. Thursday when they face Ellendale.
