The lesson plan aims to teach a 3rd grade class about rooms in a house and things found in each room. It will focus on using questions with "is/are there" and the phrases "there is/there are". The 50 minute lesson will begin with revising vocabulary from the previous lesson, reading a dialogue to identify a missing room, practicing the new vocabulary, and completing exercises to consolidate learning. Formative assessment of student understanding and engagement will occur throughout the lesson.
