VII. QAQC Procedure:

1. QAQC to conduct punchlisting during precast inspection to identify areas that

requires rectification. Gap for rectification must be judged as per tolerance stated
on specification and uniformity of alignment per elevation of each panel.

Tolerance – ±6mm on specified gap as per approved drawing

2. QAQC to check if approved method are being followed on site.

3. QAQC to issue CAR for activities found to be non conforming.

VIII. Rectification Procedure

For Gaps less than 10mm:

1. Make a vertical cut on both the inner and outer surface of adjacent precast panel
edges to maintain a width of 16mm (between cuts). Cut on adjacent panels must be
equal with a depth of 20mm to accommodate backer rod and sealant specified depth
and width.

2. Proceed with sealant application as per approved methodology

NOTE: Precast to Precast Gap exceeding 40mm shall be rejected.

IX. Health and Safety

1. Avoid direct contact with repairing materials.

2. Use proper PPEs during rectification.
