    PROCESS DESCRIPTION
    Fusion bonded Epoxy Coating for Rebar’s is not applied on the job. Instead, the bars are coated in strictly
    controlled process where epoxy powders are Fusion-bonded to steel surface. The powder is applied
    electrostatically to the cleaner surface of a hot steel rebar, where it fuses, melts down and cures to an
    adherent, continuous and chemically cross-linked protective film. This coating significantly reduces the
    amount of current required for cathodic protection to prevent corrosion. Fusion Bonded Epoxy coating has
    been laboratory and field tested to assure customers of field-proven protection that will last for the
    generations.

    TESTING ON FBE
    Various types of tests are performed in the laboratory such as chemical resistance, salt spray, applied
    resistance, cathodic disbondment, abrasion resistance, thickness test, chloride permeability, impact test
    etc.ISO-9002 certified facilities for coating and inspection and testing ensure that the coated bars meet
    the required specification standard.

    Our plants are capable of coating as per any stringent specification such as ASTM, ISO or BIS including
    client modified specifications. Besides, qualified and trained technical staff ensures that the coating is
    applied and tested in a professional manner.
