V. PROJECT DESCRIPTION
A. RATIONALE: Pursuant to section 5 of the Republic Act No. 10533,

the Department of Education is prescribed to adhere to the

standard and principle that the curriculum shall be flexible enough

to enable and allow schools to localize, indigenize and enhance

the same based on their respective educational and social

contexts. The production and development of locally produced

teaching materials shall be encouraged subject to the approval of

the division and regional education units.

In the conducted survey among teachers relative to

their prior trainings on the development of contextualized learning

resources, it was found out that majority of the teachers have no

prior trainings. Out of 126 teachers from the Junior High School

and Senior High School, only 4 males and 20 females have

trainings on the mentioned topic. It was also found out that 24

male and 96 female teachers are in need of technical assistance

on the development of learning resources. According to them,

they need to know the standard format as prescribed by the

Bureau of Learning Resources in terms of the instructional design

& development process, general specifications and its technical

In response to the mentioned principle as well as to

the result of the conducted survey among teachers, the school

plans to hold a School-Based Webinar on the Development of

Alternative Deliver Mode Learning Resources among master

teachers, head teachers and other members of the school quality

assurance learning resource team on March 25, 2022 via google

meet application.

B. OBJECTIVES :

This participants in the webinar will be able to
