Today is Monday, and I went to school early to attend the flag ceremony.

After the
flag ceremony, I immediately headed to the classroom of the Grade 7 students. Our
discussion for the day was still about waves. The class began with a prayer, and our
discussion followed. While I was discussing, I noticed a student being noisy at the
back, someone cutting class, and others being loud in class. As a teacher, in the
future, I again emphasized the importance of respecting the teacher and having an
accurate interest in learning. The same situation occurred in the next class. After my
class, I attempted to ask questions to my fellow pre-service teachers and found out
that we all noticed many students cutting classes and lacking interest in learning. So,
I consulted my cooperating teacher on what should be done, and after that, I started
to create activities for Grade 7 to help spark the interest of the whole class. In the
afternoon, I began to check the students' output and prepare lessons for tomorrow."

On this day, I learned that as a teacher, I need broader understanding and patience
for lively children. As a teacher, I should be the first to show care for them. It's my
responsibility to provide them with meaningful learnings so they can understand the
importance of education for their future.

As a teacher, I shouldn't solely focus on the negative behaviors and wrongdoings of

some students, but I also need to understand the reasons behind those behaviors.
It's important for me to create a comfortable learning environment for all learners. I
should reflect on my teaching methods and be open to improving or changing my
classroom techniques and instructions. Seeking guidance from fellow teachers is also
essential in this process.

Today was a great day because I observed changes in my students. They began
behaving in the classroom and made efforts to participate in class. I also appreciated
how they apologized for yesterday and promised to behave better. Today, they were
more active and participative, although there were still some who were noisy and
mischievous. Nonetheless, I am thankful because they realized their mistakes and
learned a lesson as students.

Today, I learned the importance of having effective communication with my students.

It's crucial to have a good and comfortable relationship with them so they feel
comfortable expressing their concerns and things they don't understand in class. I
also learned the importance of showing love for my students. Discipline shouldn't
just be about anger and lectures; it requires understanding and knowing the reasons
behind their misbehaviour

.
As a reflection, today's moment has been an eye-opener for me as a teacher in training. It
made me realize that there is still much for me to learn and many things I need to do to
prepare for my future profession in teaching. I need to learn and implement effective
classroom management and instructions. I am thankful for my cooperating teacher and fellow
pre-service teachers who are always there to provide advice and suggestions to make my
teaching more meaningful.

You

went to school early even though I felt really sick because I hadn't slept much. On
Tuesday night, I cried a lot because I lost all my lesson files when the laptop I
borrowed broke. But despite all that, I kept going because I was inspired by our
supervisor's story about a teacher who graduated without a laptop. I told myself that
if they could do it, I could too. Even though I felt tired, I still taught my class, and I'm
thankful because my students behaved well, stopped being noisy, and started
participating more. In the afternoon, I talked to my cooperating teacher again and
started getting ready for the next day's lesson. I also improved my bulletin board,
and with the time I had left, I re-wrote the lessons that were lost on the broken
laptop.

Today, I learned to still be thankful even though the laptop I borrowed broke down
because I believe that everything happens for a reason according to God's plan.
While a laptop is essential, there are many other ways to accomplish tasks without it.
I'm grateful for my fellow teachers who are willing to lend their laptops for encoding
and for using them in my class. I learned to be resilient despite the challenges during
my teaching internship, and I realized that there's always a way to achieve your goals
in life if you're determined.

As a teacher, even when feeling unwell, the welfare of my students remains

important. It's crucial to ensure that their time at school is not wasted. Providing
interesting activities for them to enjoy while learning is essential. I'm also inspired by
my cooperating teacher's observation that she noticed improvements in my teaching
strategies.

went to school early to set up my teaching materials. I was delighted to find the
classroom in good order, and during our class, the students were well-behaved and
participated in the activity. After my class, I approached my cooperating teacher to
ask for the lesson plan for the following day, which is our catch-up Friday. I then
began preparing for it.

Today, I learned about the importance of effective classroom management and the
significance of implementing engaging activities that enhance student learning. I also
recognized the importance of heeding the suggestions of fellow teachers because
they can greatly contribute to your improvement.

As a teacher, it's crucial to approach your work with dedication and heart.
Seeking advice and suggestions from fellow teachers is essential for
identifying areas where you can improve. Additionally, preparing ahead of
time is vital to ensure you're ready to handle any unexpected
circumstances.
