(1)Two Moroccan men inventors have amazed the scientific community by their impressive and
unprecedented inventions. Fouad Fakiri and Adnan Remal have demonstrated exceptional talent
and creativity, earning valuable awards.
(2)Fouad Fakiri, the Moroccan inventor who won the grand prize at the 38th
edition of the International Exhibition of Inventions "World Genius
Convention" held in Tokyo, Japan, revealed that he received several offers,
most notably from Japan, Switzerland, and Kuwait, to adopt his invention
project. He also received offers from researchers, investors, and
institutions to adopt his invention: a device for generating massive, green,
and sustainable electrical energy. It is a machine of various sizes that
converts gravitational energy and strong magnetic energy into mechanical
energy, which then transforms into clean electrical energy.
(3)The latest award he received in Tokyo was a strong moral and financial support, encouraging
him to face challenges and difficulties. As his invention is environmentally friendly, it is expected
that it will decrease the rate of toxic gases causing global warming by more than 60% to 70% in the
next 20 years. Because the device operates with gravitational energy, it competes with solar and
wind energy. The generators used in it operate for more than 22 hours, enabling it to work with 90%
efficiency compared to the others. He obtained the patent for his invention in Morocco on
November 30th. He had a message to young people in which he said "They should be
characterized by endurance and determination as achieving goals requires years of hard work. I
had the idea for this project more than ten years ago, and I am still at the beginning of achieving
my dreams."
(4)Adnan Remal, born in Fes 1962, was fascinated by medicine and
pharmacy from a young age. He pursued his higher education in
France, and he got his doctorate in Molecular Medicine in 1987. He
returned to Morocco and got another doctorate in bacteriology from
the university of Fes in 1994. Adnan believed he could develop
effective medicines; so, he made his own laboratory where he
conducted numerous experiments, worked hard and constantly. He
finally invented a cure which primarily contains known antibiotics
synergistically combined in a single mixture with herbal extracts such
as eucalyptus. He later partnered with the Moroccan company
"Sotherma," which adopted his invention. He said, "My medication finally received marketing
approval after 14 years of struggle." He added, "The importance of my invention lies in the World
Health Organization's recommendations, which indicate that by 2050, 10 million people will die
annually due to antibiotic-resistant bacteria, more than from traffic accidents and cancer." The
Moroccan professor mentioned that in 2017, the European Patent Office classified his patented
medication as one of the best inventions in the world.
(5)Fouad Fakiri and Adnan Remal are a good example that the Moroccan government must invest
in its scientists, encourage them, and support them because they are the future of the country,
and they will achieve higher positions.
