Solutions:

● Composting biologically degradable waste, such as fruit peels and rotting food, is an
environmentally friendly way of disposing wastes. It allows the wastes to be turned into
fertilizer which may be used in gardening and farming.
● Recycling uses waste materials by converting them into new materials. Companies
process the same materials for the same use, accelerating pollution, but recycling them
conserves and reduces the need to mine and process new materials.
● Waste Collection & Collection Systems is a door-to-door waste collection system that
aids in the efficient disposal of waste by citizens in the community. This type of solid
waste collection may be enforced in order to reduce the total volume and weight of
material that requires final disposal. Waste undergoes treatment, which changes its
shape and makes it simpler to handle. Additionally, it can be used to recover specific
materials and heat energy for recycling or reusing.
● Education and Raising awareness:
Encourage the general public to be more aware and educated about responsible waste
disposal methods. Solid waste management is one of the challenges faced by many
countries. Poor solid waste management will lead to various problems in health,
environment and socio-economic aspects. students have low knowledge on the different
laws relevant to solid waste management. Television or radio, parents and social media
are the sources of these awareness.

Consequences:

● Composting may harbor diseases, since bacterias that aid in composting, such as
actinomycetes, have been linked to periodontal disease, aspergillosis, paronychia,
tetanus and others. Pests may also be attracted to these sites and increase the risk of
spreading diseases.
● Despite being environmentally good, recycling can result in less durable items.
Sometimes, the materials used to create these things are delicate, overused rubbish. As
a result, recycled-waste items are less durable. In addition, it could result in increased
pollution because it releases harmful pollutants like chemical stews. The recycled
product may contain toxins and contaminants from the original material.
● Waste collection may be costly, which requires many resources such as funds, workers,
and certain equipment or vehicles. Additionally, the separation of useful material may be
difficult since waste is collected in mass quantities and volumes.
● Too much information can result in confusion and misinformation, making it hard for
individuals to make well-informed decisions about waste disposal methods. People might
oppose changes to their waste disposal habits if they see them as inconvenient or costly.
