First, I would like to thank you all for your well wishes regarding the passing of my grandfather last week. All of your thoughts are very much appreciated. Second, the math rotations will be continuing our progress towards the end of curriculum. Rotation 1 will be progressing from numbers and operations into data and probability. We will continue to review the math basics throughout the year but in the context of other math topics. Rotation 2 will be continuing to work towards mastering proportional reasoning including converting measurement units and geometry. Rotation 3 will be working on geometry using proportional reasoning.
Students of the 6th Grade have been working hard to bring to life their historical figures. They have researched using MLA format, created a powerpoint presentation, and will now come to life as their historical figure. They will each have their own section in the museum with a play button where they will come to life for each guest for a brief one to three minute mini presentation.
