80 hours Work Immersion Teacher
• This course is one of the requirements for graduation. A Senior High School
student has to undergo Work Immersion in an industry that directly relates to the
student’s postsecondary goal. Through Work Immersion, the students are
exposed to and become familiar with work-related environment related to their
field of specialization to enhance their competence.

• Specifically, the students are able to:


• (i) gain relevant and practical industrial skills under the guidance of industry
experts and workers; (ii) appreciate the importance and application of the
principles and theories taught in school;
• (iii) enhance their technical knowledge and skills;
• (iv) enrich their skills in communications and human relations; and
• (v) develop good work habits, attitudes, appreciation, and respect for work.
These prepare them to meet the needs and challenges of employment or higher
education after graduation

RULES AND REGULATIONS OF STUDENTS

ATTENDANCE AND PUNCTUALITY
a. Regular and punctual attendance in the AREA is required to all students.
b. Students are expected to be at the designated area 15 minutes before the official time.
c. A student who incurred unexcused absence of more than 20% of the required number hours will be
considered dropped.
d. Each student must have an attendance log sheet. The student must note his/her time in/out upon
arrival in the area. It will always be signed by the teacher.
e. If the student is late in the area and missed the assigned slot (i.e hospital schedule), he/she is not
allowed to loiter in the hospital premises. The students must leave the area to prevent contamination
from hospital nosocomial infection.
f. If the students missed his slot in the area, he/she is responsible for the consequences of his/her
action since re-scheduling is not always possible and we are bounded by time constraint.
g. In case of absence, please, follow JRU student handbook protocol.

B. ATTITUDE

a. Prompt,exact and courteous obedience is expected of a student at all times.


b. He / She should obey authority.
c. The students must report any concerns/problems arising in the group/class.
d. Students are always encouraged to greet any authority.
e. Students must observe proper decorum at all times. Noise or public
disturbance is prohibited.

C.UNIFORM AND PERSONAL APPEARANCE

a. The student must always wear the prescribed uniform of the university. PE uniform is
NOT ALLOWED. The student must wear his/her ID at all times
b. Hair must be neat. Female must tie their hair.
c. Male must shave off their beard. Please follow JRU student handbook protocol.
d. Nail polish is not allowed.
D. CELLPHONES
a. During the tour, use of cellphone in the hospital/other areas is prohibited.
b. Taking of pictures will only be allowed upon the approval of the authorities
( may it be hospital or other areas). Patients confidentiality is observed at all times
in the hospital.

F. DURING HOSPITAL ORIENTATION OF STUDENTS
a. The student will follow the schedule of hospital orientation set by the Teacher as
approved by the hospital administration.
b. The student must wear the uniform prescribed by the hospital training
office/university. PE uniform is NOT ALLOWED.
G. SUBMISSION OF REQUIREMENTS

FINAL GRADE = Prelims x 25% + Midterm x 25% + Finals x 50%
 
CLASS WORK = 100% NO EXAMINATION
