알 잘라디야는 가자 지구에 있는 팔레스타인 아랍 마을이었다.1948년 7월 8일 아랍-이스라엘 전쟁 중 기바티 여단에 의해 인구가 줄었다.그것은 가자에서 북동쪽으로 34킬로미터 떨어진 곳에 위치해 있었다.
십자군 전쟁은 마을에 성을 지었다.마을 모스크( 1890년 건립)에 위치한 학교가 1945년 개교 당시 43명의 학생이 재학 중이었다.
