Suzanne Vail (Democratic Party) is a member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives, representing Hillsborough 6. She assumed office on December 7, 2022. Her current term ends on December 2, 2026.
Vail (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the New Hampshire House of Representatives to represent Hillsborough 6. She won in the general election on November 5, 2024.
Biography
Suzanne Vail graduated from T.C. Williams High School in 1980. Vail earned a B.A. in psychology from the University of New Hampshire at Manchester in 1995. Her career experience includes working as a nurse assistant with Regency Home Health Care, LLC, a support group administrator, and a psychiatric rehabilitation specialist/case manager with the Greater Nashua Mental Health Center. Vail has served as the committee chair of The Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester.[1][2]

Elections for the New Hampshire House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on September 9, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 13, 2014. Incumbent Suzanne Vail, Suzanne Harvey and Ward T. Shaff were unopposed in the Democratic primary, while Donald McClarren, Peggy McCarthy and Kenneth E. Ziehm, II were unopposed in the Republican primary. Vail, Harvey, Shaff, McClarren, McCarthy and Ziehm faced off in the general election.[3] The contest saw two Republicans and one Democrat victorious. Incumbent Vail lost her seat, defeated by Harvey (D), McCarthy (R), and McClarren (R). Shaff and Ziehm were also defeated.[4]
