Jesus answered and said to them: You err, because you know neither the scriptures nor the power of God.
And Jesus answered and said to them: Do you not err for this reason, because you know not the scriptures, nor the power of God?
let him know that he who turns back a sinner from the error of his way, will save a soul from death, and cover a multitude of sins.
Brethren, if any among you should err from the truth, and one should turn him back,
He is not the God of the dead, but of the living. Therefore, you do greatly err.
We are of God: he that knows God, hears us: he that is not of God, does not hear us: by this we know the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

and in like manner also the males, leaving the natural use of the females, burned in their lusts one toward another, males with males practicing infamous lewdness, and receiving in them selves the due reward of their error.
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished for every good work.
And if your brother sin against you, go and tell him of his fault between you and him alone; if he hear you, you have gained your brother.
For by speaking boastful words of folly, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, and through lasciviousness, those who had really escaped from those who live in error.
who have forsaken the right way and gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Beor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;
in meekness instructing those who oppose themselves, if, possibly, God may give them repentance in order to the acknowledgment of the truth,
