But he replied to the man who told him, "Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?" And stretching out his hand toward his disciples, he said, "Here are my mother and my brothers! For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother."

For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them."

Jesus answered him, "If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.

Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me. I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in me, and I in him, he bears much fruit; for apart from me you can do nothing.

If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you.

that they all may be one, as you, Father, are in me, and I in you; that they also may be in us, that the world may believe that you sent me. And the glory which you gave me I have given them, that they may be one just as we are one: I in them, and you in me; that they may become perfectly one, and that the world may know that you have sent me, and have loved them even as you have loved me.

I have made known to them your name, and will make it known, that the love with which you loved me may be in them, and I in them."

so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.

God is faithful, by whom you were called into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

"Food is for the stomach and the stomach for food"but God will destroy them both. The body is not meant for immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body. By his power God raised the Lord, and he will also raise us up. Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them members of a prostitute? Never!

But he who unites himself with the Lord is one spirit with him.

The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not a participation in the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not a participation in the body of Christ?

For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though they are many, are one body, so it is with Christ.

Now you are the body of Christ, and individually members of it.

I am jealous for you with a godly jealousy; for I betrothed you to one husband, so that to Christ I might present you as a pure virgin.

Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in youunless, indeed, you fail the test?

because we are members of his body.

To them God willed to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.

For God has not destined us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us, so that whether we are awake or asleep, we will live together with him.

For both he who sanctifies and those who are being sanctified are all of one. That is why he is not ashamed to call them brethren,

he who says he abides in him ought to walk as he walked.

Let that abide in you which you heard from the beginning. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, then you also will abide in the Son and in the Father.

And now, little children, abide in him, so that when he appears we may have confidence and not be ashamed before him at his coming.

No one who abides in him sins. No one who sins has either seen him or known him.

Now those who keep his commandments abide in him, and he in them. And by this we know that he abides in us, by the Spirit whom he has given us.

By this we know that we abide in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.

He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.

And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, that we may know him who is true; and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.

Anyone who runs ahead and does not abide in the teaching of Christ does not have God; he who abides in the teaching has both the Father and the Son.

Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If any one hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.
