Bandos armour

Bandos armour is a set of armour for members that requires 65 Defence to wear. It is dropped by General Graardor and his bodyguards in the God Wars Dungeon.

Its defence bonuses are between dragon and 3rd age. It has fairly reasonable defensive stats, though the main appeal of the armour is the strength bonus provided by the chestplate and tassets. While it shares the same strength bonuses as blood moon and inquisitors (when not accounting for the helm, as the armour set does not have one), it has superior defence bonuses compared to the two and does not penalise slash or stab styles compared to the latter.

The boots do not provide any strength bonus, but have some of the highest defence bonuses in the boot slot. This can be upgraded twice; into guardian boots with a black tourmaline core, and then into echo boots with an echo crystal.

The chestplate and tassets can be broken down into Bandosian components at the Ancient Forge in the Ancient Prison, which are required to repair broken torva armour into a usable state. This requires 90 Smithing, which can be boosted.
