The shadow-dyed drygore longsword is made by dyeing a drygore longsword with Shadow dye. This process is irreversible, and the dyed version is untradeable. It has the same combat bonuses and degradation/repair mechanics as the regular drygore longsword: it will degrade after 60,000 charges of combat (but loses 2 per hit, giving a minimum time of 5 hours of combat).

It can be repaired using 10,000 chitin scraps. Currently, the cost of a full repair using chitin scraps if purchased from the Grand Exchange would be 660,000 coins.

Alternative methods of repair are listed below.

Making a shadow-dyed drygore longsword costs 1,282,814,869 coins.

Repair cost[edit | edit source]

This item costs at most 3,000,000 coins to repair completely. The repair cost is calculated by the degradation percentage rounded down (e.g. with 75.5% charge remaining, a full repair would only cost 750,000 coins). It may be repaired through a variety of methods.

Non-player characters[edit source]

These methods cost more as they do not consider the player's Smithing level for a repair discount.

Improved methods[edit source]

These methods provide a repair cost discount of 0.5% per Smithing level (including boosts):
