The giant spider is a ranged-based monster. The level 2 variant is commonly fought for early combat training. Many can be found in Lumbridge Swamp, and many more in the Feldip Hills. Low-level players wishing to train on giant spiders should prioritise those found in the swamps.

Giant spiders are weak to crush attacks, but any melee weapon should suffice.

Drops[edit | edit source]

The ones located in the Pit of Pestilence of the Stronghold of Security do not drop anything when killed except (very rarely) an unchecked spider egg.
