Lord Malachi of House Ghrazi was a former vampyre lord and leader of House Ghrazi. His house counted House Drakan among their vassals. When Zaros approached the vampyres, Lowerniel Drakan agreed to serve him, but Lord Malachi refused. Drakan paralysed Lord Malachi by poisoning the blood tribute he left for him. Drakan later entered Malachi's bedchamber where Malachi was completely paralysed, unable to even shut his eyelids. He transformed into his human guise, which Malachi had earlier derided, before killing Malachi.[1]
Drakan described Lord Malachi as being resistant to change, which he believed to have blinded Malachi to the possibility of his blood tribute being poisoned - a concept alien to vampyres before Zaros's arrival to Vampyrium[1].
Lord Malachi's stuffed head is mounted in the walls of Lowerniel's bedroom in Castle Drakan. In addition, portraits of him can be found in the gallery and in Vanescula's bedroom.

- Lowerniel Drakan noted that Lord Malachi dressed himself in leather made from ur-maggots[1].
