Three Vyrewatch scouts appear at Paterdomus during the River of Blood quest. They are scouts sent ahead of Vanescula Drakan's main Vampyre army, and some of the first Vampyres to cross the Salve. They will attack Captain Rovin and his guards, but the guards are unable to harm them unless they are focused on you.

Players must defeat all three of them using blisterwood weaponry or the Ivandis flail in order to progress with the quest. They drop Vyre corpses unless the Sunspear is used, in which case they have a 1/5 chance of dropping something from the Columbarium drop table.
