The side gate (also known as the eastern side gate) is a scenery that allows for faster passage between Woodcutters' Grove and the rest of Fort Forinthry. It requires 50 Construction to build. Before the players can upgrade the Grove to Tier 2, the gate must be built.

As this is not a proper building, its building process can't be repeated.

It only has one Construction hotspot (on the inside of the fort) and it never turns optimal.

The blueprint is started at the Fort Forinthry blueprints, under the "Miscellaneous" plans. This adds a single Construction hotspot just inside the eastern fort wall which can be built to gain the experience. Finishing the gate requires 160 batches of progress.

• patch 29 January 2024 (Update):
  • The icon for the perfect build when building the side gate in the fort has been removed, as there is no perfect build option for it.

• patch 16 October 2023 (Update):
  • Corrected the blueprint requirements for the Side Gate to Woodcutters' Grove. It now requires 50 Construction, since it requires the 'Unwelcome Guests' quest which also requires 50 Construction.
  • The lodestone and eastern side gate blueprints are now hidden from the Fort Forinthry blueprints table once built.
