I seriously don't like Mischa. Hell I stopped the re-read the second she appeared because I can't stand her. I tried again weeks - or was it months - later and I managed to skim her parts. I hate how Maximus is taking a liking to her though. I really do. This is actually one of the few books that I'd prefer a reverse haram or something. I love Braxton, and I love him with Jessa, but I also love Maximus with Jessa. I seriously wouldn't mind a relationship where Jessa is with both. I definitely don't love Maximus with Mischa. I hate her and I wish her gone from this series. That said, the re-read was still good. The story is interesting - though for me, Mischa ruins this re-read simply because I know how she'll be in the next books. Jessa and the Compasses are great. And this book would've been almost perfect if it wasn't for Mischa. I skimmed some part as I'm sick and couldn't focus too deeply. I don't regret the re-read.

“Okay, okay. Apparently Max has spent much of our childhood lamenting the fact that I’m an annoying girl.”
Braxton stepped in the front door, his dark hair damp, stylishly tousled. “Don’t let them fool you. Max loved you from the first second you came into our lives. Twenty years.”
Maximus eyed his brother. “I’m not the only one, bro.”
Their intense exchange continued for a few long beats. I didn’t even want to know what the hell that was all about.

MIGHT contain spoilers. Jessa Lebron (22), Braxton and the rest of the Compasses (22) are awesome. I love them. Though I like this book a bit less the third time reading it, I still love it. Probably because of Braxton. He's amazing. I'm still crushed that my naughty dreams of Braxton, Maximus and Jessa together will never happen. Even now, now that I know what will happen in the future; I still wish for it.

“Dammit, it’s not fair,” I growled .
“Your dragon has them all cowering like rabbits.” One of the weaker shifter animals. “Why is it that no one shows my wolf her due respect?”
He laughed . “It might be a dog eat dog world, but ... a dragon eats everyone.”

Still absolutely amazing! I cannot wait for book two, and I still wish and pray that Jessa ends up with both Braxton and Maximus!!

Holy shit, let's just say I was caught on surprise by this book! It was amazing, and it was just what I needed at the time. Jaymin Eve is definitely someone we should look out for in the future! Man, that woman can write! Dragon Marked is probably one of my favorite books in 2015 and I'm certain I'm going to re-read this sometime in the future. I cannot wait for book #2!!

The book begins with Jessa Lebron, who is a twenty-two year old alpha werewolf shifter who falls asleep at school. You'd think the book would be boring in the beginning, where all the introduction will be and all that, but noooooo, 'Dragon Marked' introduces things while things are happening so you don't get overloaded with information, (smart move, Jaymin!) and action pretty much happen in the first chapter!

My head hit the desk with a loud clunk. I jerked upright, blinking rapidly. What the hell had just happened?
“I’m sorry, Miss Lebron, am I boring you?” Tall, dark, and deadly was my teacher as he loomed over my desk.
Shit, I’d fallen asleep in class again.

And then after almost a fight with her vampire teacher, with the Compasses; Braxton (dragon shifter), Maximus (vampire), Jacob (fey) and Tyson (wizard) at her back, there's a Council meeting where Jessa's life chances forever. Like I said, this book NEVER gets boring! And this continues through out the book...

“We’re the future leaders of the American Supernatural Council.” His tone was guttural. “This is the last time I will say this. Stop lying to us – and before more bullshit falls from your lips, omitting information is the same damned thing.”

Now to the characters which I LOVED! There were not romance in this book, though there were some hints that there might be in the future. Which I am completely excited about!!! Though, Jaymin Eve is hinting that Jesse might have a soulmate within the Compass' and I know everyone is pretty much guessing it's Braxton, however considering (view spoiler)[that she is both dragon and wolf she might have two soulmates, so I'm (PLEASE don't hate me) hoping that she will mate with both Braxton and Maximus... (I DON'T WANT MAXIMUS AND MISCHA TOGETHER! Even though that hasn't happen yet.. (hide spoiler)]. Oh god, there I said it :O Holy shit!! I'm CRAZY! :P

She was sneering so prominently I couldn’t help but laugh loudly. “I know you’re confused, Krass, considering you weigh about the same as an eight year old with the curves to match, but I have hips and boobs.” I tapped my chin. “Who knows, it might happen for you one day too.”

Jessa is.. AWESOME! She is simply put a great role-model and I wouldn't mind looking up at her at all! She is strong, independent woman who don't care what people think about her. Jessa's a fighter, a warrior and she would rather stay and die with her friends/family than run and hide. And that itself says how she is as a person. She is bloody fantastic! And let's not forget that Jessa's funny as hell. Snarky and sassy which made her sexy and confident. I love her :)!

Now the Compasses... They are difficult to talk about because I LOOOOOVVVEEE them! More perfect, overprotective, beautiful, powerful, dangerous bestfriends is IMPOSSIBLE to find! I promise you that. I can talk about them all they, however this review won't let me do that .. lol

“What do you want to do now?” he asked. “If you want to run, hide, or fight. We have your back.”
The other Compasses nodded. My heart filled and overflowed in the form of a few tears. Which thankfully I got under control immediately. Jonathon was wrong. I’d never believe my boys would hunt me one day, dragon marked or not. Never.

Braxton... My favorite of them.. Though Maximus came a close second. Braxton was THE alpha male. Him being a rare dragon shifter makes him a damn powerful shifter and he is soo damn (yes I say damn a lot) dominant. Braxton is what you can call sexy as hell and beautiful at the same time. I want him and I need to stop talking while I can...

“You were protecting me?” My voice was low. Emotions started bubbling up inside of me, overwhelming emotions.
“Always,” he said.

I kinda felt like Maximus was closed off, though I love him! He was closed to Braxton, and those two are what outsider would call broody and dark guys...just my type ;P Jacob, and Tyson are damn cute! They are so funny and lovable. I just wanna hug them. Though, it's just a mask because they deadly and damn dangerous, just like their brothers. They just smile more :)

My vampire and dragon shifter sprawled out their large bodies on either side of me, and with a sigh I slithered down under the sheets and closed my eyes. Trust me when I tell you, nothing makes a girl feel safer than a Compass on either side of her. I challenged any scary dream to try to get me now.

Jessa and Braxton... DAMN!!!! Let's just say that I was sexually frustrated after this book. I won't say more.. Okay I will. These two are the CUTEST thing EVER and they were ONLY bestfriends! Can you believe it?! I just wanted to go through the book and force them to........... ARRHH! (*I'm calm. I'm cool...*)

I couldn’t lose him. Once he was mated, his female would steal him away. We are possessive like that, and none would tolerate our close friendship. Even my sister would have an issue with it. It was our nature.
Braxton captured my hand. “You will never lose me,” he murmured, reading the agony on my face. “A hundred dragon females could exist – you’re my number one. Best friends for life, I haven’t forgotten my promise."

Wow, when I find a great book I pour out all my feels.. Man this review became looong.. Sorry mates..! All I have left to say is...
