Principals Corner
Our School Evaluation was completed and we were recommended for a 6 year term with an interim visit at 3 years.
Much thanks to all who participated to make this evaluation a success.
Congratulations to the Cedar Chip Pathfinders PBE (Bible experience team) which qualified for the next level. Good
luck on April 18, 2015. Please pray for safe travel and wisdom.
Our final visitation is at Cedar Lake Church for Education Sabbath April 25, 2015.
We have a scholarship available through the Michigan Conference; please inquire at the office.
Our April Calendar is quite full, please be aware of what is happening. Here is a list of the happenings:
1. April 20, 2015 Teacher In-service training, at CLE. No School for students.
2. Education Sabbath April 25, 2015.
Parents we appreciate the keeping of your financial agreements. If you are having difficulties please make an appointment
to meet with the Principal after school.

General Information
ALOHA FRIDAYS: Students may wear their School of Aloha Shirts, or Pathfinder or Adventurer T-Shirts and regular uniform
pants on Fridays.
MISSION OFFERING: The students have been learning about missions in their Friday worships. We are collecting a mission
offering every Friday that the students will decide what mission they want to use it for.
EDUCATION SABBATH: All students should plan to be at the Cedar Lake Church for Education Sabbath, April 25, 2015.

Spelling Tests: Grades 1, 2, & 3
Unit 8, Week 2: Friday, April 17, 2015

3rd Grade Math Facts: Please study all multiplication facts.
Book-It: Thank you for participating in Book-It. Please turn in your final reports by April 17, 2015.
Field Trip: Grades K-3 will be going to the Adventist Heritage Village and the old Battle Creek Sanitarium on May 18. This will be
an all day trip. If you can be a driver for our trip, please let Mrs. Williams, (989) 565-0170, know by April 17. Because the old
Battle Creek Sanitarium is now a Federal Building and security is tight, we must know who is going by April 30. All adults going on
the trip will be required to show their drivers licenses at the door. Please be sure to let me know if you are going by the due date
because we have to send a list of names to the Federal building for approval.
Education Sabbath: April 25, 2015 at Cedar Lake SDA Church. All students in grades K-3 have a part. We will meet in the
hallway in front of the childrens Sabbath School rooms at 10:30 a.m.

FUNDRAISING our class is finishing up raising funds for their class trip. We have a GoFundMe at
http://www.gofundme.com/rp6f4m8 for those that want to donate directly. We are also selling the remainder of the CLE
cookbooks. They are $13 and all proceeds will go towards our class trip.
PATHFINDERS:
Today April 16 -PBE Team leaves for Texas. Please pray for safe travels.
Monday April 20 Meeting 6-8 p.m. There IS a meeting even if no school.
We will work on derby cars, honors and march and drill.
ADVENTURERS:
April 27 6-8 pm, regular meeting, Sewing Fun award
May 3, Adventurer Fun Day, more information to come
