    1. What does the RTU Vision mean? What should be the RTU Vision? ( That is, if you like
    another version.)
    RTU is envisioned to be a prominent university recognized for its commitment to
    innovative programs in addressing society’s challenges. The first university in Philippine
    history to offer a BS in astronomy. RTU is also known as a competitive university in
    terms of athletics; as evidence for this claim, the university consistently ranks as the
    overall champion in PASOA AND PAASUC. The university also offers students the
    opportunity to compete worldwide in Southeast Asian research competitions.

    2. What does the RTU Mission mean, to produce world class professionals? How do we
    write a University Mission? ( State guidelines)
    True to its mandate and commitment, the RTU continuously produce globally
    competitive graduates and life-long learners. This were done by providing quality
    education to all the RTU students and engage them in research and sustainable
    development. Through counseling and spiritual assistance, Rizal Technological
    University shape its students into the finest versions of themselves. As evidence that the
    university is cutting edge in having a quality of education in technology to equip the
    students professionally, top students from the university appeared in the board exams,
    particularly from the faculty of engineering and education. In terms of gender orientation,
    the university treated the third sex fairly and equally in order to prevent gender prejudices
    and discrimination.
    Furthermore, in writing vision and mission of SUCs there are procedures that
    must be complied. For example in our institution, the Occidental Mindoro State, the
    college officials conducted strategic planning and crafted a vision, mission, core values
    and quality objective which were anchored to the national agenda of the Philippines.
    After such, the responsible office/college official must invite stakeholders inside and
    outside the institution to present the crafted vision and mission for review, suggestions
    and approval of the vision and mission. They are also SUCs who invited representative
    from National Economic and Development Authority to make sure that their formulated
    vision and mission are in accordance with the local, regional, and national agenda. After
    the deliberation with the stakeholders and representative from other government
    agencies, the crafted vision and mission is subject for the approval of the Academic and
    Administrative unit of the institution and endorsed to the Board of Trustees for approval

    and implementation. In conclusion, writing a school vision, mission, core


    values/philosophy and quality objectives undergone an in deep analysis of the school
    officials and must adhere with the legal bases of the country to make sure it is in
    compliance with the National Development Agenda.
