LADIES FUTSAL TOURNAMENT (Demo)

I- TYPE OF TOURNAMENT
MSUSAA Futsal Demonstration Tournament

II -TOURNAMENT RULES AND GUIDELINES


a. PARTICIPANTS / PLAYERS
 Maximum of 10 players on a team (5 field players and one (1) of whom shall be a
goal keeper)
 Maximum of 5 substitutes can be used in a game
 Flying substitution shall apply
 A match shall not start if either team has less than 3 players
b. FORMAT OF PLAY
 2 Teams will compete in a single elimination match
 The winner will be declared champion and the loser will be declared 1 st Runner
up
c. DETERMINING THE RANKING
 Win - 3 points
 Draw - 1 point
 Loss - 0 point
 A defaulted game has a score of 1-0
In case of tie in the ranking, the following rules shall apply:
 Goal difference
 Greater number of goals
 Win over the other
 Toss coin

c. UNIFORM/EQUIPMENT / MATERIALS
 Team color (sponsor uniform are not allowed). The players number 1-99, on the
uniform registered on the official list shall also be the same on the starting list and
the same number shall be used by the player throughout the game duration.
 Long sock
 Shin guards
 Futsal shoes (rubber shoes will be allowed during the game)
 Undergarments should be of the same color with the sleeve and short pants.
 Tapes/bands should be the same color with socks

d. ELIGIBILITY OF ATHLETES
 Open

e. PLAYERS CAUTIONED OR DISMISSED FROM THE FIELD OF PLAY


 All cards are carry-over from elimination to finals.
 A player who receives two (2) cautions (yellow card) shall automatically be
suspended from the match following the match in which he received the second
caution card.
 A player who receive 2 red cards will be banned from participating in the
tournament.
 A player expelled (red card) from the field of play by the referee shall be
suspended for the next match.
f. MEDICAL TREATMENT
 If a player needs medical treatment on the field of play during the following
procedure must be observed upon the signal from the referee, the medical team
and his/her assistant may attend to the injured player.

V- NON APPEARANCE OF THE TEAM


a. Team should be at the venue at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time and
should be already worked up five (5) minutes before the time while equipment to be
used are being inspected.
b. A grace period of (15) minutes shall be given to the non-appearing of team after the
schedule playing time non- appearance of team after the grace period will
automatically forfeited its game with a score of 1-0 (3 points) and Tournament
Committee will meet immediately to decide a further sanction. The law of immediate
succession shall be observed. Inspection of each athlete’s gallery must be done
before the start of any game.
VI - GOAL CLEARANCE
Law 16 – The Goal Clearance
“Where this is outlawed by domestic rules for youth, veterans’, disability and/or
grassroots futsal, if the goalkeeper throws the ball directly over the halfway line, an
indirect free kick is awarded to the opposing team, to be taken from the place where
the ball crossed the halfway line.”The philosophy behind this limitation is to promote
creative futsal and encourage technical development.

VII- PROTEST
a. All protest should be in written from duly signed by the coach and must be handed
over the Tournament Manager within (1) hour after the match.
b. No protest will be entertained regarding judgment calls of the referee. Only
technicalities of the game may be protested.
c. Non refundable protest fee of 1,500.00 php will be collected upon protest.

VIII- THOSE ARE NOT COVERED BY THE TOURNAMENT GUIDELINES AND


GROUND RULES, PFF Code of Conducts and or FIFA Laws will apply.
