Powder of pulverising is a prayer powder that enables all bones of a single type in the player's backpack to be ground simultaneously at the Ectofuntus for 30 minutes when scattered, destroying the powder in the process. It can be created by grinding 15 hasty whirligig shells.

Interacting with empty flower baskets in Het's Oasis allows the player to put certain types of flowers in the basket to lure different types of whirligigs. Having hydrangeas in a flower basket will lure hasty whirligigs. When caught, the whirligigs will drop their shells, which can then be ground into powder of pulverising. The buff is lost on death.

If more than one type is brought to the grinder, only one type will be ground at a time, and the grinder must be clicked again for each additional type. In addition, while grinding bones normally awards 1 Prayer experience per a set of bones, using this powder awards 1 Prayer experience per action, effectively reducing the experience per backpack slot slightly.

Using bank presets, the ectophial, and the bank at War's Retreat, it is possible to grind one inventory of bones in approximately 33 seconds, for a maximum of 54 trips in 30 minutes. This can be increased to 55 trips by carrying the powder on the first trip and using it while standing by the grinder. During its 30-minute duration, players can grind up to a total of 1,484 bones; 26 on the first trip, and 27 on subsequent trips.

Scattering the powder awards 0.5 Prayer experience.
