The rune platebody (Bandos) or Bandos platebody is a decorated rune platebody that is affiliated with the god Bandos. Sharing the same stats as the rune platebody, except for the 1 prayer bonus, the rune platebody (Bandos) also looks visually similar. Its appearance differs in that the plate features an ornamental copper trim around the symbol of Bandos. The platebody requires 50 Defence to wear and cannot be made using the Smithing skill. Players can obtain a rune platebody (Bandos) as a reward from completing a level 4 treasure trail, from burning a vyre corpse in the Columbarium.

This platebody is a constituent of the Bandos armour set (lg)/(sk) which consists of the following items: rune full helm (Bandos), rune platebody (Bandos), rune platelegs (Bandos) or rune plateskirt (Bandos), and rune kiteshield (Bandos) — all of which are decorative versions of their respective rune armour counterparts, aside from giving the +1 prayer bonus. Players wielding any piece featured in this set of armour will cause followers of Bandos to become unaggressive upon entering the God Wars Dungeon.
