And He began to speak to them in parables, "A man planted a vineyard, and set a hedge about it, and dug a wine-vat, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into another country. And, at the season, he sent to the husbandmen a servant, that he might receive from the husbandmen of the fruits of the vineyard.
What, therefore, will the lord of the vineyard do! He will come, and destroy the husbandmen, and will give the vineyard to others.
And He began to speak to the people this parable: "A man planted a vineyard, and let it out to husbandmen, and went abroad for a long time. And, at the season, he sent to the husbandmen a servant, that they should give him of the fruit of the vineyard; but the husbandmen, beating him, sent him away empty.
He will come and destroy these husbandmen, and give the vineyard to others." And, having heard it, they said, "May it not be!"
O Timothy, guard the deposit; turning away from the profane babblings, and oppositions of that which is falsely called knowledge;

But, if any one provides not for his own, and especially for his own household, he has denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever.
And I say to you, that every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account concerning it in the day of judgment;
Be anxious for nothing; but, in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God:
Be not, therefore, anxious, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink!' or 'What shall we put on?' For after all these things the nations are seeking; for your Heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
And seek ye not what ye shall eat, and what ye shall drink; nor be troubled with anxiety; for after all these things are the nations of the world seeking; and your Father knoweth that ye need these things.
And he that was sown among the thorns, this is he that hears the word; and the anxiety of the age and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.
And others are those sown among the thorns. These are those who heard the word, and the anxieties of the age, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires about other things entering in, choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.
"And that which fell among the thorns, these are those who heard; and, going forth, they are choked with anxieties, and riches, and pleasures of life, and bear no fruit to perfection.
But Martha was being distracted about much serving; and, coming up suddenly, she said, "Lord, carest Thou not that my sister left me to serve alone? Speak to her, therefore, that she assist me!" But the Lord, answering, said to her, "Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things; but of one thing there is need; for Mary chose the good part, which, indeed, shall not be taken away from her."
"But take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be weighed down with gluttony and drunkenness, and anxieties pertaining to life, and that day come upon you suddenly as a snare;
But I wish you to be free from anxieties. The unmarried man is anxious for the things of the Lord, how he may please the Lord; but he that is married is anxious for the things of the world, how he may please his wife, and has become divided. And the unmarried woman and the virgin is anxious for the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and spirit; but she that is married is anxious for the things of the world, that she may please her husband.
"Come to me, all ye who are laboring and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you, and learn of Me; because I am meek and lowly in heart; and ye shall find rest for your souls;
And, when they bring you in before the synagogues, and the rulers, and the authorities, be not anxious how or what ye shall answer, or what ye shall say; for the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what ye ought to say."
