The amulet of the forsaken is a potential reward from Barrows. Wearing it improves the set effects of the six original Barrows equipment sets. The effect does not work with golden Barrows equipment.

Ahrim the Blighted's equipment: additionally applies a debuff to the opponent which reduces melee damage by 10% upon activation
Dharok the Wretched's equipment: Dharok's damage boost applies from full hit points instead of half
Guthan the Infested's equipment: the amount healed upon activation is increased by 10%
Karil the Tainted's equipment: additionally applies a debuff to the opponent which reduces magic damage by 10% upon activation
Torag the Corrupted's equipment: gain an additional 5% adrenaline (or special attack energy) upon activation. This effect also works outside player-versus-player situations.
Verac the Defiled's equipment: your attack swing (the global cooldown) is reset upon activation, allowing another attack/ability instantly

The amulet degrades to a broken state over 100,000 charges of combat. It can be repaired by a repair NPC for 500,000 coins, or cheaper on an armour stand.

The amulet can be combined with the lock of hair to create the Dharok's Memento relic.

Repair cost[edit | edit source]

This item costs at most 500,000 coins to repair completely. The repair cost is calculated by the degradation percentage rounded up (e.g. with 75.5% charge remaining, a full repair would only cost 120,000 coins). It may be repaired through a variety of methods.

Price history[edit | edit source]

With the release of Archaeology on 30 March 2020, the price of the amulet of the forsaken experienced a ninetyfold price increase from around 400,000 coins on the day of the skill's release to nearly 36,400,000 coins at its peak price, several months later. This was due to its new use as a relic component for the Dharok's Memento relic, which is used to unlock the relic power Berserker's Fury.

The amulet was previously a reward from Bounty Hunter, costing 2,000 Bounty Hunter points to purchase from the Bounty Hunter & Deathmatch Reward Shop.
